Australian group of DMs looking for more players to share knowledge with

Hey all,

My name is Lucas, I have a couple years DMing experience I'm DM for a group I like to call The League of Extraordinarily Enthusiastic DMs. I set up the group as a place for D&D players of all experience levels to exchange information and provide respectful feedback. 

I'm running the "main game" but at the end of every session we have a quick feedback session about what worked, what could have been better and what we could do differently next time. Also every three sessions one of the other players runs a one-shot of their choice. 

We've got a pretty good group at the moment but sadly due to life reasons we've had a couple departures and I'm looking for some enthusiastic players looking for a roleplay-heavy game to fill out the roster. 

Your experience level doesn't matter. Are you an experienced forever DM looking to be a player and pass on what you know? Great, looking forward to seeing how a more experienced hand handles things. Are you a brand new player who thinks this game would suit them? Great, I can't wait to see what new angles you approach DMing from. 

What I'm looking for are people who are willing to collaborate respectfully as well as those who can give and accept feedback well. 

The Game

Ah yes, the main game.

The ancient birthplace of democracy has fallen and the entire world holds its breath to see what this new age brings. 

After 10 years of conflict the democratic state of Thessalos has fallen to the militaristic triarchy of Arkoa. 

Now Arkoan hoplites are free to pillage and plunder the land, with few left to stop them.

However, remnants of the Thessalonian Guard fight on in a desperate guerrilla war. 

Amidst the chaos the common folk are left to fend for themselves against evils that had long been kept in check by Thessalos. 

However, on the edges of the bloodshed stirs darker forces which threaten the very existence of Thessalos, Arkoa and beyond.


This is an RP-heavy game with a good mix of combat about navigating a post-war world. 

The setting is inspired by ancient Greece and is loosely based on the aftermath of the Peloponnesian War. 

Our current roster is:

A half-elf College of Swords Bard

An air genasi Grave Cleric

A satyr storm sorcerer

While I don't really care about "optimal group composition" I do like having a diversity of races and classes so that everyone gets their moment. 

I also like to use the characters and their backstories to build the world so I'm really interested in collaborating with any newcomers to flesh details and cultures of this world. For example, before the satyr sorcerer joined I had no idea what life was like in a place called The Satyr Wood but now their society is fairly well developed. 

I also encourage the use of a webcam since I think it makes it easier to engage with each other but I'm willing to be flexible for the right people.
