I will also mention that once the group gets to know each other a bit, we have someone willing to host us at their house which is nearby the shop, off Sheldon & 99.
To clarify, first and foremost, since this is an offline game: All current players and myself are vaccinated, and would require all future players to also be!
The Friday campaign that's currently running at the shop is apparently ending soon due to the DM needing to move, and I'd like to start up a new group to fill that slot. While I plan on DM'ing the group, I'm also more than happy to play if someone else wants to DM ( :pain: ), I'm running 2 groups online on Mondays and Saturdays right now.
So! A bit of info:
Time: Weekly on Fridays, sometime between 3pm and 10pm. Right now, we're theorizing starting at 5p and running until 8-830p.
Format: 5e (if the players all are interested and we vibe well as a group, I also enjoy Path 2e). I very much do *not* play "by-the-book" D&D either. So if you're looking for something exactly to the book, this will not be for you. I'm very much a "if you want to do something, let's figure out how to do it, as long as it isn't very unbalanced" type of player & DM.
Module: Homebrew, and I tend to run around 70% RP/Story vs 30% combat -- give or take. So this is absolutely not a dungeon grind game. I'm also happy with any sort of homebrew races/classes, as long as you send them to me to look over and make sure nothing is broken/overpowered. I have most content unlocked on dndbeyond for use.
Players: 5 - Perfectly happy with a group of new players, seasoned pros, or a mix thereof. Both my current groups are a good mix. I will request players be over the age of 18. This campaign will NOT include explicit "adult" content by any means, but I'd prefer not to have to step our language or jokes around a minor being present in the game.
Story: High Fantasy in what you think of more "traditional" D&D style -- Not sci-fi, or modern, etc. LOTR, but more magic.
Length: Plan for a long campaign. My current Saturday group is 7 months in and is level 7 atm, though there was a long period of being at level 5 with that one for a specific reason. If I had to put a number on it, I'd like to see a campaign be running for a minimum of 6 months to up to a couple years.
I'm not in a direct hurry to start, but in theory I could start as soon as the Friday slot at the shop is open (I believe that's in a couple weeks), then they're closed the first couple weeks of July. That said, I'd be happy to do a couple sessions elsewhere (even online) before migrating to the shop once it's open if we get people right away.
I will say that I will be pretty picky about players and will want to chat with everyone both separately and as a group to make sure everyone is comfortable with each other before we start properly. I'd prefer to do an initial chat over Discord, but I'm happy to meet at the shop to chat with people as well.
A quick final note that since I plan to run this at the shop, there is a table fee for the shop that comes out to $10 per player. This goes to the shop for us to use the space! As I mentioned though, my friend that's playing is willing to host once we get to know each other a bit.
If interested, add me on Discord to chat:

Include the brackets and all spacing exactly as written. You can copy paste that directly. I've had a couple make that mistake in the past! Or just reply and post yours, if it comes up not working still.
Edit: I believe I have found our players! Thanks!
Hello!
Looking at starting up a game at one of the Local Game Stores around here -- Tables & Tales in Elk Grove: https://tables-n-tales.business.site/
