My name is joseph and I am a rather new dm and looking for a few people to play with me and my buddy del. Because I enjoy making maps and stories I like playing on tabletop simulator as all the content lets me set up my table with everything I like. This 5e campaign is going to be almost 100% homebrew taking inspirations from different video games and even a few nods at the Critical role show as well. While I am still learning id love to get everyone together and explain the back story of the world and start going through character back stories, I do encourage RP as it does tend to make the games much more fun.
What nights(days?)/times are you looking to play? is this going to be an at-will game? What programs will you be using? when would you be holding your session zero?

Rollback Post to RevisionRollBack
Current campaigns - DM - Tomb of Annihilation home game
theory crafter and character builder.
Past campaigns -DM- modern post-apocalypse custom home game.
- Human Paladin, Brazelton - multiple games
- lv 12 Human Ranger, Mattias Shaw - 3.5e Homebrew
I'm down for this as well. I have Mondays and Tuesday nights off. I also have other days off, but those seem to be the most popular days people are available so those take priority, I guess.
Also, a few added things, should you choose to accept me into the game:
1) Never heard the term "Tabletop Simulator" before. Is it basically just another term for Tabletop Role-playing Game, or is it like a video game where people play tabletop games? Because the latter is just weird, man.
2) In the event of the former, I won't be able to come in physically. We'll need to communicate through Discord (Derpyfirp #8109) or something, and if I'm accepted into the campaign I'll need to Skype in.
Tabletop Simulator is a software application which visualizes the effects of hosting a tabletop game. Many D&D groups use Discord to subsidize the voice chat and dice rolling.
I would also be interested in joining. Though details will have to be figured out such as:
When will games occur?
How many people can participate?
Are there any character limitations such as race or class selection?
Can we multiclass?
Also as a fan of Critical Role, what sort of nods were you thinking about? Something similar to what Rat Queens did?
Once we get all the info for all the players we will see about working a way into everyone's schedule and I am aiming for at least one game a week
at the moment I am looking for 4-6 players
The homebrew setting is one that will allow for all races and multiclassing is something I would be into if you already have plans on what it is you are wanting

no limits on classes or race as for the story it will be very heavy with content involving everything from godly interventions to policies of major cities. I do very much encourage role playing as seeing players get involved with the story as there characters is always a joy for me
Is discord an app is discord an app or something? I have a kickass computer that I will use but I definitely want to play with a group. I have Monday Tuesdays off but I usually get off at 2 pm so unless I get held I can play whenever
