Dungeon Master Mora here hoping to fill out my campaign teams
I'm looking for a player for not one, but two campaigns, both my weekly campaigns are missing one person r.n.
Campaign 1 - Hupperdookian Heroes This campaign is set in Wildemount and is pretty similar in style to CR games, with bit more flair to darker themes, the party is currently traveling back to Zadash from Aeor after completing a heavily modified Frozen Sick adventure, they are a curious bunch of mishaps and while not fully goody lawful ones are definitely good guys, while sometime being bit selfish, they have dislike for Empire and happy to work with Cobalt Soul (group patron thing) if this is setting you are interested in and you have free Thursday evenings (GMT+2 times), give a holler.
Campaign 2 - Plade Adrift This is my own homebrew campaign and second campaign I have run in that world, the world is grittier and darker than Wildemount but still high fantasy, heavy on moral shades and while the party has managed to get best results so far, I often reveal temptations that might turn them on darker shades. The campaign is even heavier in roleplay and the heroes are in a setting that resembles late medieval historical setting with some magic and steam punk elements, the gods of that world are at a slow decline as is the world itself. If interested this post of one of our players writing a summary might give you better glimpse what we are abouthttps://www.reddit.com/r/dndnext/comments/ntx8b2/food_session_summaries/ This campaign runs Sunday evenings GMT+2

What I offer is:
Weekly campaign that is ongoing and I plan to run long term LBQT+ friendly Chance to explore completely new setting/ Chance to explore Wildemount with respect for canon but also adding my own flair to it High fantasy world with more serious themes Roleplay heavy game Dedicated and helpful DM (won't ghost or flake away) Playing through discord and Foundry (preferably both video and audio) Filling your DnD hunger (some of it at least ;), I'm not a miracle worker) Silly jokes? Fun?
Some final notes, I'm looking to find a good fill for groups that have proven to work well and fluidly with each other for months, so I might turn aside some of you who I think would be excellent additions but not just working with that group. My style of Dm'ing is leaning more towards RP and more towards realism. That being said I'm not a rules lawyer and if it makes sense (or you can sell that idea to me;) ) I'll allow it.
I*m promoting this through few channels and considering the amount I might receive, I might be tad slow to get to you. I will try to get back to everyone throughout weekend and will probably (hopefully, finding people) close this post late Monday.
First off, the player doing the linked write-up is awesome! THIS is what I to be a part of, something special, something you fight for, even die for. A legacy. Ok, enough spouting, now for the details.

Your experience with DnD: been playing for about 30 years, started with AD&D 2nd edition. Have been DM for a majority of that, then was forced to quit about 10 years ago when my group members over 10 years slowly moved away and parenthood really took off for me. I always enjoyed making, or playing, the large epic struggles that were plagued with "gray" decisions. Do you kill this surrendered enemy, knowing they are likely to return again? Do you let someone sacrifice themselves to save the party if you could reveal your secret past and save everyone? These are the questions that I loved to test my players with.
What would you bring to the table and what are you expecting from the campaign: Experience with moral ambiguities, a strong desire to be a part of something bigger, the ability to truly develop a character and relationship with other characters (real or otherwise) that will last. I would like to be able to work with the DM, and the other characters, to truly flesh out a background and a character. I usually have LOTS of questions regarding big and little things. How common is magic? What kind of magic is known? How is society structured? How, and why, do those in power get to power and keep in power?
Ok, enough questions, hope I didn’t scare you and destroy my chance to join. LBQT+ isn’t a problem, two children myself are members of the community. No real experience with Foundry but I learn computer programs and such really fast. Do have a tendency to use “dad jokes’ sometimes, can’t help it, I AM a dad!
I look forward to hearing from you, even if it is a “No, sorry”. Have a good day.

Your experience with DnD: I've played for about 18 years I think. I'm 34. I've done 3.5 mostly, but I've been running 5E campaigns for the last 2 to 3 years. I'm also in another campaign. A campaign I was in on Sunday ended so I'm looking for a replacement. When you say GMT+2 what time do you guys play in GMT+2. Sorry if it is a silly question.
What would you bring to the table and what are you expecting from the campaign: I love roleplay and enjoy chasing lore. A homebrew campaign is usually perfect for me since I love to absorb the information that you put through the world. Also in the game I understand everyone has a role, and that sometimes some characters may not be comfortable yet and try to help other players push into doing their role. (For instance, I currently have a wizard in one of my groups new to the game, so when it comes time to investigate something I ask her in character if she notices anything or if she can look closely at something for us. It is an easy way to not only get some roleplay in, it helps new players understand their characters). Sundays are my free days as long as the session does not run too late, which is what I'm hoping to verify is exact time we would be going to. It sounds like your games may run a bit later than what I have available, but it does not hurt to check.
If you are looking for a strong roleplayer that helps build interactions in a group, I feel I am a strong candidate for this campaign.

In every game i join i only expect fun and everything else is just a nice add-on. I would really enjoy playing dnd now because ive been starved of it lol.

Your experience with DnD: Well im still kinda new so hopefully that isn't an issue. I understand the mechanics of the game pretty well and i can learn fast.
What would you bring to the table and what do you expect from the campaign: I probably dont have as much experience as other players i can fill in any roll that is needed without a problem. I usually like playing support characters in games but any other roll is fine. And what im expecting from the campaign is just to have fun.
Experience: New to playing, but have been watching Critical role and collecting DnD stuff over the years
What I would bring to the table: I may be a bit new to the playing aspect of DnD but I'm more than willing to learn and learn quickly, I think I could fill a few different roles within the party depending on what would be most needed and I'd hope to possibly make a few new friends who have an appreciation for all the nerd stuff I'm into and just have an absolute fun time
Discord tag: Tomáš#5764 Which Campaign are you interested in: either Timezone: CET Pronouns: he/him Your experience with DnD: Falling in love with CR some three or four years ago, I knew I had to play the game so I put together some homebrew 5e campaigns as a DM for interested total beginners and joined others as a player some time after that. I even used D&D to teach English conversation lessons this year to everyone's apparent satisfaction. What would you bring to the table and what are you expecting from the campaign: I'm excited about the game and I'd love to get to play it in English. I thoroughly enjoy every aspect of D&D and although I'm still quite new to roleplaying, I hope to be able to grow in that area in a friendly long-term setting much like the one you're presenting and ultimately lose myself in my character. I have a multiclass the-ends-justify-the-means evil-fighting magical tank character concept I'd especially like to bring to life.
This seems very interesting. If you are still looking for the right one, here is my entry:

Your experience with DnD: I have been playing D&D for well over a year at this point, and I am even DM'ing a couple of games each week with a mix of new and old players. I have substantial knowledge of the game and creative with both character backstories and personalities.
What would you bring to the table and what are you expecting from the campaign: I can bring a level of seriousness to the table when needed but poke around when the party decides to goof around. I can even out the group dynamic using any class and bring a different personality to the group. I always bring interesting characters to my games, who will have their own reasons for going where they are going, and have their own motivations. I am always consistent and have never missed a session. I am also always available to talk if need be and will respond fairly quickly, so if you have any questions just send me a message.

I've played in a couple of games before and understand character creation and mechanics.
I'd be really excited to learn about your world and the other pcs and I love making characters and coming up with their backstories, I just love D&D in general. Plus, Thursday evenings are Perfect for me because I have a weekend job and most games are on the weekends. I'm a lesbian and finding LGBTQ + friendly groups so far has been difficult so yours sounds amazing! I usually play magic related characters but am happy with any. If I end up as a bard, I promise to not seduce any BBEGs! 😂

Your experience with DnD: I have been participating in two campaigns up until this point with a few sessions behind each. So I'm definitely familiar with the rules (and can also adapt to new ones), though I don't have as much experience as a veteran player. It's always been super fun to immerse myself in a world and then just have a good time with the people there. My first ever campaign was a one-shot a friend of mine made up to get me into it, the second one was dmed by my partner, relying pretty heavily on homebrew elements.
What would you bring to the table and what are you expecting from the campaign: I think my main strength lies in my writing, I have been a writer for 10+ years and I always try to put great care into my characters, their motivations, backstory, lore etc. I really enjoy the roleplay aspect as well (though I'm pretty bad with accents) and love the feeling of immersion a campaigns brings. My expectations aren't set high at all, just having a good time with the sessions we have would be awesome! I do enjoy a good mix of challenging combat, exploration, roleplay and tomfoolery as well. I always try to take notes and be prepared for the sessions (also used DnDBeyond, Roll20 and Beyond20 a whole lot), in general, I just want to be more proactive in my playing style to keep the rp and story going to make it easier for the DM.
I think that's everything! I'm looking forward to potentially hear back from you and if so, I'm very much looking forward to the opportunity of playing! Have a good day!
