I am currently Dm'ing the Waterdeep Dragon Heist campaign, but would like to run it with more players, of course from the beginning again. And i am looking for people who are willing to do some long term games or at least not one shots.
I am therfore looking for players/DM's who would be interested in DM'ing aswell as playing, so that we can take turns to both DM as well as play. I feel that the commitment to the playing would be much higher and people would be more invested in making something great, if this was the mode of doing things. It would also seem to me, that people would be more appreciative of the work the DM's would put into the building of a campaign.
The style of playing depends entirely upon the people joining in, but i appreciate a fun game, not 100% serious all the time, and all kinds of people are welcome, as long as they behave nicely and try to make things run smoothly. Everything about which campaigns to play and what types of characters as well as homebrew and so on - Everything is open for discussion.
If this seems like something you could see yourself in, please message me:

I would love to join up. BUT. (there is always a but). I have only just recently returned to the world of dnd after decades of absence. So, as for DM, I´m sadly not capable to take such a role. And throw you my info, and then we will see if you end up having room :)
Name: jesper
Age: 43
Preferred RP/Combat ratio: 60/40 (tbh, i´m fine with other ratios as well)
A bit about yourself:
Played a ton of different roleplaying games, back in the days. Only just recently returned back to the hobby (playing and painting minis). Just your average type of dane, really: witty, sarcastic and generally a pretty nice person :)
Any particular character idea /Campaign idea you might have:
Pretty much depends on the rest of the party, but would not mind trying a druid build.
A bit about yourself: I've never played DnD before but after really getting into Pillars of Eternity , baldurs gate 3 and watching a bunch of youtube videos on DnD i really want to give it a try. Happy to learn if you'll have me. Outside of DnD tend to be a bit shy to begin with but warm up quick enough, genuinely easy going go with the flow kind of person.
Any particular character idea /Campaign idea you might have: Made my literal first characters a couple days ago and my favourite is a half orc barbarian but genuinley happy to try anything
Your Discord: Kyleo#9639
When is the best time to play during the week: Any time after 4.30pm BST (5.30 CET i think for you guys)
Hopefully I'm a nice fit but if not wish you all the best and a bunch of natural 20's :)
Preferred RP/Combat ratio: More RP than combat but understand that some sessions are just a long combat
A bit about yourself: I’m a long time DM and want to try a game as a player for a while. Happy to switch in and out as DM and have a large library for collateral and can share with others (all DnD content and more). Current game is ending at lvl15 and is based at a central place, it is heavily based on actively involved deities and intricate multi layered plots that are interwoven to influence one another, so outcomes benefit some and disadvantage others.
Any particular character idea /Campaign idea you might have: I love ancient mythology, especially Greek/Roman and have run campaigns and settings in worlds created based on this. If switching DMs, I would suggest a continuing planar swap that allows the DMs to swap in and out based on the individual characters experimenting with a mystery device on a central plane. Happy to discuss this further so there are no spoilers from players reading this.
Just an addition to this, I would usually run elements from set campaigns (like DotMM or Lost Mines of Phandelver) but set into my campaign and interwoven with NPCs etc. Loads of ideas, come talk to me; we can find what works best. Familiar with Roll20 and Discord but considering using Foundry so I can use animated maps (geeky but cool - right!)

When is the best time to play during the week: Any week evening apart from Thursdays. I am in the UK so just an hour difference with you.
Preferred RP/Combat ratio: 50/50 but I am open for different ratios
A bit about yourself: I have played Pathfinders some years ago. However, I still see myself as a new player to DnD. Other than that I am a stereotypical dane who nice towards others.
Any particular character idea /Campaign idea you might have: I have previously been playing rogue, I am eager to play something different. However, that dependent on what the party needs.
