Brand New DM LFP for Wildemount Adventure DnD 5e

Experience: A year and some change mostly as a DM. I played a least a handful of sessions as a player. Comfortable with roleplay/combat. Enjoys characters with more interesting stories than abilities. I know discord and roll20 pretty well and comfortable with using theater of the mind.

Availability: bi-weekly on Saturdays and can be flexible. Afternoon games preferred. 

Character Idea: Shugog "Sigfriede" Irontusk an Orc of Exandria paladin and former captain in the army of Kryn dynasty.The battle between Dwendalian and Kryn forces gives way to the ground underneath killing soldiers on both sides. Among the two survivors was a human Righteous Brand solider named Sigfriede dressed Shugog's wounds and healed him. They became trapped underground for some time and formed a strong bond during their time together. They put their differences aside for the sake of survival and discovered the passions they shared. The pair know that they would become enemies once again as soon as they emerge so they devise a plan to sneak into Uthodurn but it goes terribly wrong. The pair emerge from the caverns underground and attempt to flee. Caught trying to sneak beyond the border of the Kryn Dynasty, Sigfriede tragically dies and protects Shugog allowing him the time to cross. Shugog, adopted Sigfriede's name in honor of his friend, seeking to form a new life beyond the Kryn dynasty and keep his past life a secret. He devotes himself to live the way he believes Sigfriede would, a life of honor and compassion. In doing so he pledges himself to Sigfriede's god- Raei, the Everlight. 

Fav CritRole Character, and why it’s Jester: Fjord and Veth/Nott the Brave! I loved the character arcs and the chaos they would get themselves into (which the same could be said for most M9 members). Caleb and Jester were also amazing but liked the transformation Fjord and Veth go through over the course of the show resonated with me. And of course, Fjord dealing with Uk'otoa...Uk'otoa.

Character Idea: Okay, so the idea is forming, some of the details are adjustable. Now I want to play a Reborn specifically; because of what the book presented. I love the idea of a character that is building themselves backward; the Reborn has lost their memory, from their untimely death and unexpected resurrection. There's lots of room there for a story to build itself, They are forming a sense of self while trying to piece together their history. Now the idea for who they were before started to form, they were a sailor, perhaps a pirate, but I kind of like the idea of a naval officer maybe, and they remember none of that; and for race, it'd probably have been an elf before they were reborn, and then for class, it'd be a wizard but a bladesinger; they were once a sailor who could make their blade sing with magic, they had a life and perhaps family, and then they died- but not just died, something happened, they don't know how they died, or why, or when. and now they are reborn, arisen from the grave, with barely their name, the instinct of basic functions and magic, being able to bladesing still, but the rest is blank and being so lost, they'll need people who can help them out as they reform the basics of themselves. There's a lot there; and none of the details are exact because it's an idea that I'm very interested in playing, but the idea is malleable, and comes with suggestions or details added in by the dm and then perhaps if the other players are comfortable with that, them too; there is the potential with playing a reborn is using them to link the party to npcs, as well as the idea of the party solving a murder of one of their own, could be fun. That's just one idea, but it's the one sort of idea that if I found a group and dm who were cool with me having a character like this and such, then would love to explore this. I have more details and working things out, but this is kind of the storm that's been brewing. 

Fav CritRole Character, and why it’s Jester :  I have read the Wildemount book, but I am actually new to CR. Now I have already been spoiled for years now, and for me, spoilers mean nothing if I don't experience it. So I have no issue with any major spoilers. I am currently watching EXU, love Fearne and Dariax, and I am currently going through CR 1, and I love Laura Baliey, Vex and Percy are my faves so far... and when I get to starting CR 2, I am sure I will LOVE Laura's character. Might start CR 2, and just watch all 3 at once.

Hi, I’ve played an ongoing campaign for about a year in person but only as a dm. I’m really into the RP side of dnd and was looking to actually be a player in a game. 

Availability: I am est so 1:00 pm should work for me even though a little later would probably be best, but I’m willing to make it work.

Character idea: I have many different character ideas but one in particular I have been dying to play as. A warforged artillerist arificer who’s backstory I’d like to get into more in private so it can be explored more in rp if that is okay.

My favorite character from campaign 1 is definitely Grog and so far in campaign 2 is probably Caleb.

Experience: Briefly played 3.5e about 10 years ago and started to learn 5e last year, but haven't played any campaigns in it

Availability: Evenings on weekdays, but pretty much any time on Saturday and Sunday

Character Idea: A Path of the Ancestral Guardian Barbarian Dragonborn, named Settivetr. He is a member of a tribe of Dragonborn from the Crystalsands Tundra who were once slaves of an ancient white dragon over 200 years ago. The tribe gained their freedom by overthrowing and and killing the white dragon (who they named Fimbulvetr). Because of their former slave master, the tribe became superstitious about white Dragonborn being born into their tribe. Since killing fellow members is forbidden, white Dragonborn are shunned and mistreated, often leading to self-exile. Settivetr met the same discrimination in his home tribe and decided to venture out into the rest of the world. Seeking to kill great and powerful foes to bring trophies back to his home tribe in hopes that proving his strength will allow him to be accepted by everyone. His greatest dream is to kill a powerful dragon and have a weapon crafted from its bones and scales as proof of his triumph.

Fav CritRole Character, and why it’s Jester : Jester is super charming and everything, but my favorite overall is Vax'ildan. I just love the dark and brooding types and his story conclusion through campaign 1 had such a beautiful ending.
