Married couple, hardcore gamers but her new to D&d, LFG of decent mature players

Game: D&D 5e
Group preferred: Online 
Experience: New / a few years
Location/Timezone: Ontario, Canada (Eastern Standard Time) 
Availability: Alternating Weekends or Alternating weekdays (eg every other Wed)... Ideally both, so Sat one week, Wed week 2 and back to Sat week 3. 
Preferred role: 2 Players - I usually play rogues and wizards, her, I haven't discussed it with her but I would bet $20 she is a tanky barbarian/fighter... Again. 
Game style: Detailed roleplay and light hearted... Ideally with some emotional connection. It would be amazing to find a skilled DM who really creates an interesting world for us really open up and explore. Oh, and definitely longer campaigns.

She has never played D&d before but is very much a gamer who loves many boardgames (real boardgames like Scythe, Gloomhaven or even Carcassonne... If you think Monopoly is a good boardgame *shakes head*). Video games she loves Divinity Original Sin 2 more than anything else but will happily do any good game where you can geek out over the stats on the gear.

Me: played a lot of D&D when I was younger but never played 5e.  Also played Gurps, Vampire the Masquerade, Mage: Ascension, and others. We live in a tiny town and finding a good game is like...impossible. Also, as an engineer...i will be able to coach my girl on any mechanics we encounter as I love reading rules. 

So we are looking for a smaller group willing to teach us a bit but also expect us to catch on really fast. Also, very willing to make a decent commitment to this. If there are several very experienced people willing to give us a chance, that would be absolutely ideal - ideally for longer term regular game nights. Also, if there is a small fee to pay the DM for all the prep work... I have chipped in before because the guy was freakin' amazing. 

If you could do Tuesday evenings and need more players, I'd be happy to jump in. I'm pretty experienced with 5e. Been playing for several years and have a good grasp on the mechanics and rules.

My group is looking for two additional players. Sent DMs to both of y'all. I am now wondering how many people is ideal to have in an online zoom game? Is there any practical considerations for zoom screens? In real life, it is how many people fit at a table and who will actually show up each week.
