Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: New Location/Timezone: US East Coast Availability: Flexible Preferred role: Player Game style: Looking for a group of middle-aged casual players, who use D&D as a way to socialize, meet friends, etc.
Looking to make a group of online friends centered around D&D. Have been wanting to learn for years, and now have the opportunity to do so. Looking for like-minded group of people who use D&D as a way to socialize moreso than are "hardcore gamers". Let me know if you are interested!
Hey there, 37 year old here. EST as well. I'm definitely interested in starting up a group with some like-minded casual players.
I just started a campaign with a small group of mom friends (online) but we only play every 3 weeks or so. I'm looking to dip my toes in more to the D&D world. I'm also still very new to this world as well.
I would be interested in this as well. Also in the East Coast, and never played D&D until I tried out Camp DD&D Online after their kickstarter. I found that I am apparently hooked, but it is a little too expensive to keep going full time there. Still learning, and this seems like it would be a good type of group. My Discord is Origen77#9851, although I admit I barely know what Discord is.
You all sound like a cool group of people I'd love to join in on a campaign with. I'm 42 and live on the east coast. I have a little experience. Been playing for a couple of years now and played a few campaigns (one ended because of covid so we eventually started Curse of Strahd online). Sadly most of my friends aren't into this so I'd like to meet some like-minded individuals, maybe even make some friends that I could actually converse with about this stuff without feeling like a complete loner. Hit me up on my discord. spadesvex#2702
This sounds like an excellent idea. I am 46 and play with my kids but i could use a like-minded adult group to play with. I am in the Midwest so an online thing would be great. I have some expierience with D&D but am certainly needing to learn more.
Hey, I have a little community of players on Discord that might be what your looking for. A few DMs run games regularly, both campaigns and one-shots, I'd say about 15 of us are over 30 and the rest are between 18-29. We just started taking in players who are new to the game. Add me on discord if you want to talk more. Sage#6124
