Looking for 4-6 players to join in a Curse of Strahd game. I have been a DM for 3 years mostly running homebrew campaigns with a few official modules as one shots. There will be a session zero before the campaign starts, and it'll be a weekly game on thursdays at 6:00pm GMT+1. If you're interested just fill out the following questions:
Name: Age: Experience: Character/Concept: Expectations of game/gm:
Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online / Face-to-face / either Experience: Brand New Location/Timezone: Hamilton Ontario EDT Availability: Mon-Fri class 6pm-10pm Weekend free Preferred role: Player Game style: Prefer standard fantasy D&D based for first run
I'm not afraid to RP and will respect DM's rulings. Chill funny dude, shoot me a message or add me NonSequitur#8508
Name: Ben Age: 30 Experience: A few campaigns, not to much but I have an idea of what I'm doing, never touched curse of strahd though Character/Concept: I have an idea for an artificer, if you're okay with them. Lados, the tiefling Artificer, was sent off to enhance his skill at a college in Neverwinter. As a tiefling he was ignored, if not downright spit on, so he spent a lot of time studying by himself. One fateful night in the back of the library he discovered a book with a spell he didn't understand. Being rather new to this world he choose to translate that spell and cast it. He made sure to have a nice open space, just in case it caused an explosion. He worked for weeks to get it right, each failure getting him closer. Then one night he successfully cast the spell and his box was infused with a magic he couldn't get his mind around. He went to bed wondering what he had done.
The next day he woke up and all of his things had been packed for him. The headmaster of the college asked him "politely" to leave and never come back. Now he travels, looking to increase his skill. He only has the box to talk to... and it talks back. Expectations of game/gm: I expect a fun game with surprises. Be that surprises in RP or surprises in combat *shrug* it's all up to the dm, I am along to tell a story.
Character: I would prefer a Dragonborn druid, but I'm open to creating one from scratch or playing something else. I can make a more in-depth backstory based on the setting of the campaign.
I don't really have any expectations since I haven't really played too much before.
Name: Tom / Yunzel Age: 30 Experience: About 2 years of playing and a one-shot of DM'ing Character/Concept: I usually am very flexible and most of the times I played I would fill in the role the party needed. Given the choice I have a concept of a secluded dwarven cleric in mind. He is in search of a lost heirloom belonging to his clan. Not allowed to return home, he set out and managed to uncover a lead that pointed in the direction of Barovia. He is quite calculated, and refrains from helping those he deems a lost cause, as his order has taught him. Nonetheless he is resolute and determined to reach his goal. Expectations of game/gm: Anything goes as long as everyone's comfortable and having fun. The only thing I would like to ask for is a set schedule.
I'd love to hear more, if you would consider me :)
Experience: I've ran a few games before, decently knowledgeable of rules.
Timezone: GMT + 2 (Sweden)
Character Concept: All in-depth character stuffs will be done during session zero, but my current concept is some sort of Monk or other martial class, since two other guys seem to want to play spellcasters (druid and artificer). Currently I have no idea what backstory I'll have, but I hope I'll figure something out before the session zero.
Expectations: I want to be able to affect the game through what I do. I expect a pretty dark campaign since it's Curse of Strahd.
My discord is FaZeChristerBjorkman#6276
Update: I've made a character sheet on dndbeyond, as well as made a first idea of backstory. I might change things depending on everyone elses characters. The concept is that my character (currently unnamed) was born in Barovia, in a poor family living outside settlements. They owned a small farm and had a few homemade weapons. Then, his mother fell ill and died, and his father ran into the woods in madness and never returned. After a lot of grief and just a healthy amount of brooding, my character came upon a "monastery." It was only really one guy, a monk of shadow who took him in and taught him the arts of stealth. Eventually, my character had to leave him, but remains ever grateful for the monk's help. My character now works as a thief and assassin, and he has sworn that a portion of what he earns from every job goes to the old monk. Here's the link:
Name: Ethan Age: 16 Experience:I've been playing DnD for a couple of months now and I don't need any help with creating a character Character/Concept: I would love to create something using the tortle race as I just got it recently and I think its very cool. From what I know a druid or cleric works well with them but because of the fixed ac I've heard that barbarian also works well. Expectations of game/gm: I appreciate a more serious table where when its session time everyone calms down and plays but if the general mood of the session is to mess around im fine with that. I believe that the dm has the final say in anything as its your world we're in.
I'm free basically everyday except for Mondays and Fridays as I have different campaigns then, If anything pops up that I have no choice avoiding I will notify ahead of time of my absence. Also, I am horrible with character voices. If its ok to rp just in my normal voice then that would be great. I also have access to a camera if needed and experience using Roll20 and Avrae. My discord is Chubby Rubber#7575, please feel free to dm me

Character:dwarf fighter. Pre-prepared. Could make a new character if necessary.
Expectations: not much. Just an environment that supports a noob and teen.
Name: Adrianna but you can call me Adri or whatever you would like :) Age:13 sorry if that's to young Experience: I have played in 3 campaigns and dm one but I have been l watching dnd things for 3 years Character/Concept: A elf ranger or rouge that just wants the best for everyone and will kill to get it. I will make more of a backstory if i get in the game :) Expectations of game/gm: To be fun serious and not scared of death of players.
pm or add me on discord if I make it! discord is chaotic neutral#9909
