Looking for two players to join our campaign! We already have 4 members and a DM and we all know each other well so feel free to invite a friend, we want everyone to feel comfortable. Currently we have a wizard and a fighter confirmed, along with two probable spellcasters, so martial classes would be nice if possible. :) Our age range is 15-25 (outliers haha)

We will be using Discord, D&D Beyond, and theatre of the mind for our sessions! Mic is required, webcam is preferred if possible.

Experience: I've mainly been DMing for about a year now, played a few times before then. Looking to be able to be my own character again.

Character ideas (if you have one): A Rock Gnome rouge named Nick Pikit. Grew up in a gnome orphanage with his brother Rocky and 4 other Gnomes, Ted, Penelope, Lily, and Bo. Together, they made a small gang with Bo Lakesmith as the leader and Nick as his second hand man and best friend. After leaving the orphanage, the gang did all sorts of jobs: rob banks, steal from museums, and hitmen for hire. However, over the years, Nick and Rocky talked about leaving the gang together and starting a farm and make an honest living. Bo overheard and was furious. One night, Bo tells Nick and Rocky about a small job: a late night B&E at an old man's house. However, by the time we were about to leave, the authories were already outside and the home owner came in with a gun and killed Rocky. Nick runs off as fast and as far as possible, Reaching a city that he has now called home, living in a shack in an alley way.

Why you want to join/favorite parts of D&D: Joining to have an amazing adventure with you guys, as for my favorite part, well I love everything, especially the rping part, since I love seeing the characters interact and all of the development and stuff. I really like combat as well, and again everything!

Why you want to join/favorite parts of D&D:  I usually DM.  My group of friends is very inconsistent in gathering (once every month turned into once every 3-6 months) and I'd love to jus sit back, relax and play a character.  I have a full subscription to DnD Beyond, I have discord, and I'm pretty chill.  My schedule is mostly flexible on Saturday's, so it's a great day of the week if it's mostly evenings... wife & kids claim the daytime.  Favorite part of DnD has to be critical fails and a creative DM.

Experience:. I've been into DD for years now.  Been playing for about 3.  But my "fan-ness" is kinda theoretical.  I've tried being a DM for my first game, but people moved away, and then my work got in the way of my PbP game.  Another game got destroyed by Covid lockdown, so I've never finished a campaign.   I really enjoy the game, and would really love the opportunity to actually flex dnd muscles and learn more.
Character ideas (if you have one):. I've enjoyed playing as a paladin.  Lay on hands is a god-send (pun intended).  Concept of my character is: a drow who was sold as a slave to the surface because he's so useless to his family.  He's guileless and trusting and really likes helping other people.  Kinda absent minded and loses track of things, but always ready to hear a joke, sing a song, share a pint or generally have a good time.  If a Paladin, I would be a paladin of Eilistraee, which further made him unliked by his Lloth sworn kin.
Why you want to join/favorite parts of D&D: I love story telling, and I love the creative elements of DnD.  It is just so fun to work with other people and learn how others might solve a problem or handle an interpersonal issue.  I grew up overseas in Thailand in a multicultural environment, and learning about new cultures is always fun.  I'm American, but I've only lived here for about 10 years.  But again, I really enjoy the story telling aspect of the game.

Character ideas (if you have one):  Kildrake BlackAnvil: Dwarven Ranger/Hunter

Born to a noble clan, Kildrake Blackanvil, is a tall mountain dwarf. Standing just over 5" and weighing in at a hefty 165 lbs, he is a large dwarf by most if not all dwarven standards. As the youngest of 7 sons born to Travok Blackanvil (Travok was a unique dwarf who had many more children than the average dwarf).  As the seventh son, Kildrake knew he would never be considered to take over his fathers' lands and holdings. Instead, he spent most of his time exploring the caves and surrounding areas of his clan's ancestral home. This exploring led him to the life of a wanderer and eventually helped him to find his calling as a Ranger in the service of his father. While he has not renounced his birth status, most would never now he was born to high blood. He has a special hatred for the Undead, most likely born out his Dwarven heritage and time spent in wild. Undead kill for no reason and are not part of the natural order of things, which to Kildrake is just plain wrong.

Why you want to join/favorite parts of D&D: I truly enjoy the social aspect of D&D (even when it is online via 3rd party apps), where a group of people get together a forge a long lasting relationship based on their love for a game where they get to kill monsters, gather riches, and become famous.  I am looking for a solid balance of RP and Combat...and maybe a good dungeon crawl every now and then.  I can do various accents, to include Irish, Scottish, English, Russian, American, Japanese, etc.  I speak multiple languages and have lived in 5-6 countries around the globe).  I can roleplay with the best and throw dice with the rest.
