Adventure: homebrew sandbox/open world adventure campaign
Where/When: In person Sunday evenings (usually, though schedules are funky and we may have to adapt at times for some odd work schedules) in Northampton, Mass (possibly once or twice a month online using R20 (a player can't make the drive 4 times a month)
Starting level: level 1,
Character diversity: I have 3 players already committed: we haven't totally decided on classes yet, but probably 1 wizard, 1 bard, and either a barb or a paladin
Player diversity: so far just guys, but I'm hoping to get a few women to join. LGBTQ welcome!
Experience level of players: ranging from newer, to intermediate experience. I'm a new DM, but have a good head for it, and a lot of material already made so it'll be fun.
Game style: a good balance of all things. The current players haven't had many opportunities to Roleplay lately and we're looking at doing a lot of roleplaying. It's an open world, sandbox style adventure/exploration story with many towns, cities, places to explore, history to learn about and study. Combat will be hard, and not always encouraged.
Requirements: nothing really outside of easy-going, creative, and excited to play and learn. You can be a new player, young, old, male, female, non-binary, etc. All I ask is that you play for the cohesion and fun of the group. Don't be selfish, overtly or unnecessarily violent or aggressive as a character or player, and be able to work with others, and less NSFW material (just don't need it in D&D tbh). Respectful and compassionate. Simple, don’t be mean or ill-tempered. Please be do committed to attendance. We do our absolute best to meet every week but sometimes we have to rearrange or reschedule, consistent cancellations will be a deal-breaker. Let me know in advance so I can factor in natural story arcs, etc.
