Just wanted to see if there are any (18+) players who would like to be PC's for a Curse of Strahd campaign online via D&D beyond and roll 20. This campaign is for players who have not yet played through Curse of Storage, but would like to have a more scary/horror themed game.
Weekly game time day/time are tbd.
All class/character options are fair game starting at lvl 1, but will progress quickly.
I love saying yes to players so you play how you want and have fun...but I have one expectation: No metagaming because it ruins the fun.
All interested players: 1. post a quick response about who you are, your playstyle, and past DnD experience.
Looking forward to playing with you!
Disclaimer:I know asking for experienced players is disappointing to some. I am running a game for new players and we do have one open spot. Send me a DM if you're interested.
Hi! I'd love to join in. My name's Dylan, I'm a 22 year old college student and I've been playing for a few years now. I like to get into character and role play first and foremost, but combat is a close second for me. I really enjoy creating characters with real links to the world and can grow as the campaign continues. My discord is yeahwhat#3481 if you wanna talk more.
I'm Marc. Eastern time. I've just got back into playing after 20+ years off. Learning 5E and enjoying the super wide range of options.
I like the story, accomplishments, progress ... however we move the story forward. Particularly through figuring out the best relationships between the RPs -- what works, what doesn't, letting the players learn each other's styles.
Any campaign works for me. I don't know enough to be swayed one way or another.
Im Dan. Central time. been playing for about 3 years and have a lot of fun with 5e as well as 5e home-brew.
Im always down to immerse into an amazing story, I like puzzles, huge fights (major or hunting) as well as some good RP. Im open to anything and want to grow with the story that unfolds.
Hi! If you're still looking for players I would love to speak with you ^_^
I am a semi-new player (about 15 sessions in with one group and 6 with the other), I prefer to play Rogues, but am open to whatever would best benefit the group.
Introverted person, would love it if I didn't have to play a talkative character. LGBTQ+++ friendly. Don't mind thorny jokes & puns (including targeted at myself). Currently playing with people whose age ranges from teens to 40s - don't see any issues with the age either.
I'm available at pretty much any time Mo-Tue and Thu-Sat CTS.
Experience: Less than a year of experience w/ a lot of binging Critical Role & High Rollers content
Location/Timezone: EST - Indianapolis
Availability: Weekday evenings after 8pm (excluding Thursdays), all day Saturday, and after 6pm Sunday
Preferred role: Player
Game style: I'd like something a little better than casual as regular absences really mess up the flow of things. I enjoy role playing flavorful characters, I like adhere to character growth, and I play well with plotlines! I'm dying to try out my first caster idea:
A small, unblinking emo Owlfolk sorcerer simply named "Bird". Bird was ripped away from his family in the Feywild as an owlet by a deranged summoner that sold trained beasts by infusing them with the powers of the Shadowfell and bending their wills to accept any command following a secret phrase. The poor creature took to the arcane exceptionally well, but absolute domination over its mind never fully took before the summoner was slain by a rival / competitor. As a result, Bird has a "born-yesterday" mentality yet is too emo to decide what to do with his newfound freedom (neutral). The only thing that keeps him moving is the existential pain of his giant, unblinking eyes that never close (if he closes them, he'll relive the horrors of his past).
