Availability: Monday, Thursday, Sunday evening (from 6 or 7 PM)
Preferred role: Player
Game style: looking for a casual gaming experience with some roleplay focused elements and character development. I prefer official content over homebrew as I'd like to have a "classic" experience first.
I'm 30 years old, based in Hungary. Preferred language is English. My availability is somewhat flexible and I'd be okay with 3-4 hour sessions (even if ending after midnight).
My level of experience: 130+ hours of watching critical role campaign 2 + I learned the basics from the official starter pack. I have read the players handbook and basic rules on dndbeyond but I have never played any dnd before. I played many RP videogames before.
My characters: I already prepared 3 characters each with their own personal background story, aspiration and characteristics. Extract below.
Bright: https://ddb.ac/characters/51876829/7w6tnr - is a cheerful, ever-optimistic halfelf sourcerer who fell down an ancient ruin near his hometown and gained his powers. He spent most of his time (up to the point when I'd join your campaign) as a hermit, trying to find more clues to understand the source of his powers delving into other ruins and ancient parts of the world. He is a general troublemaker (being a very unlucky person) and he is too open with others. I'd like to explore how his attitude and personality would change depending on the party he'd join.
Ivor: https://ddb.ac/characters/56049138/qaJ2mf - a shady looking human warlock who found a curious object in a mausoleum and met his patron there. His patron torments his mind but also gives him power and sometimes simple but cruel solutions for his problems in life. Ivor is very calm, gentle and charming but at times of stress or anxiety his other personality may surface. His path would be of struggle against his patron and steering away from the warlock path or a simple leap into madness deepening the bond with his tormentor.
Taris: https://ddb.ac/characters/56054022/CCc2UX - a human ranger who has a dark past. After getting saved from the noose by his late mentor (a ranger called Thorald) he swears an oath to protect the weak and joins Thorald to help the mountain villages. Taris is gentle and noble hearted and one of fhe common folk. He is very precise and a rational thinker. When Thorald dies Talis realises he does not have any goals himself. Brooding over this he knows he cannot change the world and erase his former employers for good but he will try everything to hinder them wherever he goes. Joining an adventuring party he might become a believer that he can actually make a change in this world or drop this ambitions in favor of the goals of his fellow companions.
