Experience: DM since the release of 5th edition, professional DM for two years. Please ask for a link to my DM profile with more than 40 reviews from previous players.
Time: Weekly on Fridays at 7pm GMT/3pm EST
Players: Minimum two, maximum six players. Looking for two more to get the campaign started.
If you found exploring the Underdark world of the drow and duergar too tame, come closer... For deep beneath the citadels of the grey dwarves and the temples of the Spider Queen lies an even more vicious foe, one whose only instinct is their compulsion to seek the taste of living flesh. This is the place where vampires, wights, and ghouls are not skulking in the dark, but leading endless armies who need no rest and no sustenance.
Player characters will embark on an epic journey into the unknown, where the might of their spells and blades will never be enough. They will need to seek powerful allies, recover lost relics of forgotten saints and heroes, and negotiate, the intricate, Byzantine politics of a vast, corrupt, and decadent empire. While the tone of the campaign is grim and dark, there are many moments where the players will have the opportunity to bring light into this hopeless world.
"Empire of the Ghouls" is a campaign for levels 1 to 13+ from Kobold Press, the leading 3rd party publisher for 5th Edition D&D, the creators of the Midgard setting. We will use the official module from Kobold Press for Roll20, with all the fantastic assets and arts created for the phenomenally successful Kickstarter.
I am sure I have left out a lot of information that is critical to some players. I am always available to answer questions, but for a feel about the tone and the nature of the campaign and the setting, I would also recommend looking at the some of the promotional material for Kobold Press's "Empire of the Ghouls" Campaign Kickstarter.
Please take caution when sending money to others online. D&D Beyond is not responsible for monetary transactions outside of direct purchases on our site.
