mid-experienced player looking to play a good game (18+) (LGBTQ+) (5e) (online) (est)

Hello and welcome! I am gonna keep this straight forward and to the point, cause I know there are a lot of forums to look through and I'm sure you're busy. 

I am a dm/player for 4 yrs, and I want to play a good game. I love to create in depth characters and integrate them into the world/ give my DM a sandbox full of toys to play with (you want it I got it). for this post specifically, I would like to play a young half-elf monk in a decently role-play heavy game. I have a couple pages full of lore written for his monastic order/relational ties/potential baddies for an interested dm to use :) I like to use character voices, and I'm willing to meet a dm's energy level and commitment to the game/the narrative. consider this an advertisement of myself, and if you are interested in me as a player for your game, please do not hesitate to ask any questions you have, I can and will provide more details upon request. 

here's some physical details about my situation: I am in EST, and I can fit a lot of times into my schedule with a bit of a heads up, though evenings are typically better. I have no problem with LGBTQ+ and other diversity in and out of game. I play 5th edition, though if someone wants to teach my a new system I'll give it a shot!

some stuff about myself, my name's Grant (he/him) and I love role-play, in depth character interaction and development/destruction. I've been writing stories since I was 8, and dnd is just an opportunity to tell stories as a group, which is amazing! critical role is a big inspiration within dnd specifically, and basically anything that has possible emotional investment/payoff I can totally get behind.
