I have been a GM of many systems*, but I rarely get to play. I am moderately familiar with 5e and would like to get to know it more from the other side of the table. Me:
Stable adult able to keep a regular schedule.
Prefers serious games with at least enough roleplaying that I can tell you my party members' goals and values.
Would prefer to play with official material and rules more or less as intended, with good faith efforts not to abuse the systems or color too far outside of them.
I would like to get involved in a full campaign, but always think it best to do a one-short or something to make sure all players have good chemistry before taking on a commitment. So uh, yeah. Just in case anyone was looking.
*2 3.5 & 5e, Pathfinder, Shadowrun 2-5, Fate (Dresden), Cypher/Numenera, old WoD, other stuff.
Hey if struggle to find something to hop into your welcome to join the West March running on my discord. Games run almost everyday, EST evenings and nights, all times on the weekends. If your interested just shoot me a friend request on Discord Sage#6124
Ever played 5E EPIC (max level: 40)? It's kind of like halfway between the complexity of 3.5 and 5. My league will be hosting a one shot soon to recruit some new blood.
All of my paid games focus on rules as written and only from published Wizards of the Coast 5e books/adventures. Check my profile for details if you are interested!
Just FYI, it's not a whole new 3rd party ruleset. You use 5E RAW rules to level 20, and then this takes it 21-40. The 5E ruleset applies throughout. We do have *some* homebrew add-on stuff, like we revamped the crafting system which is otherwise nearly non-existent in 5E RAW.
But no worries, was just trying to help your "always a DM issue." Hope you find exactly what you're looking for! <3
Fellow forever DM here,, I have a new campaign that's just about to finish a prologue. We play Fridays at 7pm est if you are interested in talking about it.

Any interest in a classic First Edition Group?
That sounds pretty neat in theory, but isn't what I'm looking for right now. I'm hyped that someone is doing it though. I'd watch that.

I’m alright with that. Follow me and I’ll try to remember to invite you for a viewing. Provided I get it off the ground.

I'm a bit leery of taking on a whole new third-party ruleset. I've never heard of it though, so I'll look it up.
