[Online][EST][5E] Group seeks to add 1 or two playing to new game to be STREAMED and/or turned in to a Podcast | LGBTQ+ Welcomed

Hello! 

As stated in the title, my group is looking to add 1 to 2 people to our D&D group. We will be starting a BRAND NEW, Homebrew story, streaming it on twitch, and possibly upload a podcast. 

We are looking for someone who will be dedicated to the game/stream and reasonably prioritize it. 

About the campaign:

Welcome to the world of Synomia! In this world, we explore the stories of young heroes trying to find their way in the world, but not without the help of some mentors! Our story will begin at the Arcadian Academy in the vast country of Cosan. Because of the lack of war for several millennia, the military, other than city guards, is not heavily focused on within the nations we will be starting in. Also, when creating your character, understand that we will be starting in an academy, and it will make more sense to have your character be around average college-age (this can vary with races that age differently.) The academy and its faculty will be present for your character's support, but they do not always have to be present. Interacting with them can be beneficial but is not required.

What I am looking for in a player:

1. A Player that is willing to prioritize this game/podcast in their week reasonably.

2. A player willing to put in the effort to come up with a character backstory and work with the DM to create a story that the whole party can enjoy. 

3. Be willing to develop real characters and real relationships. I love character interaction and development, so if that is your bag, PLEASE DO apply.

4. Please be 18+ and mature. This is an 18+ game. There will be mature themes ('Fade to Black' is mandatory.), adult language, violence, and realistic jerks. (IN-GAME ONLY)

5. Not a rules lawyer. You may ask clarifying questions, but the DM has the final say at the end of the day. If he wants to allow or disallow something (for a good reason), He can.

About the Game:

\- LGBTQ+ is welcomed! If you are uncomfortable with this, please do not apply. There will be no tolerance for being rude. Disrespect towards ANY player for ANY reason is unacceptable.

\- If there is something that you are 100% uncomfortable with, please let me know after you are accepted. I will not be excluding anyone from consideration for this reason.

\- The game has no official start date or day of play. We will be working with Eastern Standard Time as that is what the DM is in.

Submitted! Looking forward to speaking with you! Although, I might change my character up a bit, depending on what everyone is. The race and backstory will still be the same, but I am probably going to change the character to be a Bladesinger Wizard or a Paladin of some sort. Just a possibility.

Great question. We originally were going to leave the applications open until 9/15, but with the number of applications we are receiving, we may turn new apps off in a few more days. So expect a response no later than 9/11 if you've been chosen to continue in the process.

Hello, I am so sorry for bothering you, but I am a bit nervous, because I don't remember if I entered my discord handle correctly, and I have no way of checking it. Is there any way to check this? It might be fine, but I can't put the thought to rest after you mentioned the importance of the discord handle. I am certain that the name part is fine, but the numbers, I don't remember for sure.
