I hail from an Asian country, so assume I know nothing. I am willing to learn. I would appreciate an intro to the world-building first, because I really know nothing. Thanks in advance.
Hey just created my character and am reading the players manual when i can, complete newbie here and in the uk but pretty flexible as far as times. Get in touch if you have room for a first timer.
I'd love to get in on this. I'm a new player and would love to have you show me the ropes, if you don't mind of course. I sent you a friend request on Discord. My name is Kyzstro
Hi, I am a new player, but I managed to figure it out quickly. I'm not quite a veteran, but I have five or six of the books, and a character, and would like to play.
Hey so I've been playing for a while with one group and I spend a TON of time working on everything for them and they're in the last part but one of them dropped out. I kind of hinged a lot on that player including making a bunch of homebrew items specifically for them and now I can't use them on anyone. Should I just find a new way to force them to work on my other players or do I abandon them or something else? I have no idea what to do now. Please help me!
when i use my bbd character sheet to make check rolls it always rolls 2 dice..for advantage/disadvantage i guess...if its a normal roll how do i turn this off or which roll do i go with ? higher or lower? it doesn't really make sense if its a normal roll to choose either..seems with 2 rolls it would be unfair to pick the higher or you would just be shorting yourself to pick the lower...thanks
hi everybody. Ive never played dnd before but have been a final fantasy junkie since i was 8 back in 1990, so fantasy like the movie flight of dragons and rpgs have been a main stay for me since i can remember. i bought BG3 and fell in love, then started listening to Drunks and dragons dnd podcast. im ready to try and dive in, i got my dwarven paladin all set up i think? im new to the beyond site as well and was maybe hoping for a little coaching and navigating through the character sheet stuff and even where to find things in the drop down menus. got a buddy whos making his first ever character too. do we need a dm or can we just use the pre made story stuff to start? like i said im new to this and feeling like im all thumbs with this, any kind of first timer tips or info would be very appreciated, kind of also hoping to find more people (2 or 3) with experience to play with and lead initially. ive been listening to people play 4e but i dont really care which edition i start in since ive never played. hope to hear from someone, and thanks in advance i know this will be a welcoming community.

i've been playing for like 5 years but yeah i'd love to help/play in a new campaign
Hello, I really want to learn how to play and play, I learn very fast.
Hello, I am very new to D&D and would like to get started. any help would be greatly appreciated
im pretty new and have been wanting to play for a while but haven't been able to find a group. I'm in mst time zone
I run a heavy story driven campaign (homebrew)(online)
Also lots and lots of opportunity for RP
Fully developed world, lots of cities. loads of NPC's to interact with. Rich and deep storyline and sub plots etc.
I always work my players characters back stories into the story line to make them more vested in the world.
Its a long term campaign can run well over 1 year+
Discord onslaught4051 if interested send friend req
I have no issue teaching new or newish players.
