Hi, Arborhawk here. I am willing to teach some of the basics of D&D with the Fantasy Grounds virtual tabletop. I have an ultimate license so all a person would need is to download the free Demo program. I have all the class packs, the DMG, I even have a module that contains most of the Unearthed Arcana stuff.
I am available most days. I live in the EST timezone. Send me a DM if I can help!
Hi, I also would be down to teach new people entry level D&D knowledge. I've played a few early level campaigns as well as run them so I have a good grasp of the player knowledge required around those levels. I also have pretty extensive availability and love listening to other people's characters/stories.
Veteran player. I am more than willing to start a new character to help others create theirs. I have experience in most melee rolls and as a GM. I am, however, based in SLC, Utah.
I have played several games already, but I am not at all the best: I understand most mechanics, but mainly only magic based ones, and the role play aspect has always been a bit shaky for me. As long as there is a spot, I would love to join!
I'm a bit of a veteran player. Been playing since 1979. I've spent every year teaching people how play and expanding the player base and number of DM's in our area.
I've been trying out the Roll20 site for a bit now and would be willing to do a few training days.
First day - of character creation and backgrounds including common races and classes.
Second day - Do a little mock encounter/combat and some spell work, included in the encounter would be some ability checks to help people understand how to use them.
Third day - run a one shot adventure with the complete package of a roleplay, puzzle and super evil villain named Fred LOL!
Let me know if you would be interested and that way I can prepare something.

I'm in - not 'new' by any means but will need some knowledge dropped on me about the changes to 5e - been playing 4e for the last few years and then YEARS before that 1st and 2nd edition - so I'm familiar with most of it
