Hello! I have always wanted to play D&D but have never been able to connect with anyone locally. I have just found out that there is a virtual way to do this so I am hoping that someone will give me a chance.
Hello, I'm a rather experienced DM with a decently experienced group of lads in their twenties. I run a game over discord on Monday nights. Just how knew are you? I can work with new but im not just looking for a players familiarity im also looking for their drive to help me create an entertaining stories.
Game: D&D 5e Group: Online Experience Lvl: Any (Somewhat Experienced Prefered Timezone: EST Time: Monday nights Game style: My style, aka im gonna aim for hardcore roleplay but its probably become more funny casual roleplay. Some plot lines can get dark but i try to keep things mostly jovial.
Anyway to the game. You will be entering a world of bleak darkness. There is no sky, there is no air. You are one of several races of creatures that find themselves eking out an existence in the depths of a vast ocean. There are only a few places of civilization in the Realm of Cynnar and most of them belong to the industrious beloved. These creatures are used to the depths in many ways but rely on their technology and faith to overcome the horrors of the deep. By far the more numerous in the depths as a whole and yet far less so in the realm of Cynnar are the Depth born. Monstrous kith and kin of the depths are they, born in the cold and yet they often find warmth in the companionship of others after several bloody wars have left a permeant scar on the psyche of the race. Mixed in-between the two main powers are that of the slip-skins and the Undivine. Shape changers attempting to find their way in the world and Dying Gods so weak they might as well be mortals respectively. Regardless of your creed, something has drawn you to Bridger, a smaller hold in the Northern reaches of Cynnar. Who knows what troubles you might get into. There are rumors of many things slipping by the ears of every gossip monger and informant in the city. From whispers of a new kingpin in the criminal underworld, to an antient hoard of Depth Mail just waiting for a valorous knight household to reclaim it. Perhaps most ludicrious of all is there might be a light somewhere up above. Who knows? Maybe You'll will be the one to find out.
