I'm a new DM however I haven't DM'd a game yet, so not technically a DM but I'm almost there. I am looking for a game that is open to beginners and a DM that can lead me through much of the process of creating characters, encounters, etc. I feel it is also important to mention that I am a minor (13+) so don't expect otherwise. I understand I am asking a lot and many DM's don't want to take on this responsibility. I'm not an idiot when it comes to D&D though. I know the basics form a D&D podcast (Just Roll With It) I've been listening to since February. I'm also a pretty good storyteller for my age. I'm currently in the process of designing a campaign for my family given they are the only people I can play with at the moment. Any offers or questions my discord is Cpt_Jade#5919
Well, I don’t have it fully fleshed out, but the overarching campaign is that the Rose god Turresque has enchanted members of a crime organization to assassinate the Queen. The island Turresque stays at, the Rose Garden, has been drawing in sailors and making them acolytes. There’s also other quests as always, a bard’s concert and audience perpetually playing, a haunted marsh, vampire castle. I’ve drawn out my own map actually but I don’t know if I can post pictures in the forums. It’s all in pencil anyways and disorganized. Oh! There’s also a plot of separate royal murders, except instead it’s pulled off by racists. Very different than a god.
There are a couple “I’d like to play”, replies so I’ll address them in general, If you want to play in my campaign, we’ll have to talk further in DM’s on discord. My discord is up top.
Advice would be lovely! I’m in CST, I’d prefer to play on Friday/Weekend nights, again I am a child (13+) so things always come up. It would be on discord probably.
So there isn't a schedule, yet but so far it sounds like I could make it.
I'm also a minor, so you don't have to worry, 15 to be exact. Because of school and stuff, I'll probably miss quite a few sessions, so I'd probably be a reoccurring character that traveled with the group but would visit home or you would just control them like an NPC. I kinda want to take a peek into what playing a Kenku is like, of course, this was inspired by Critical Role's Kiri, but mostly just because I want to try out the unique roleplay opportunities.
If you want you can make a campaign group using DndBeyond where everyone can add their character, so you can access them easily.

Oh mind if I join
What is the schedule? Like is it on the weekends, what time is (give time zone), etc...
I'm somewhat new but I've got quite a bit of experience in the art of DMing so even if I can't join I can give you advice.

Nice to know! To be honest, I’d be glad to fit you in, I now just have to look into Kenku’s.
Would we be level 1 or 2 to start the campaign
It's a Kenku Bard, Outlander.
Level 1 I’d imagine, depending on circumstances you may be lvl 2.
Oh yeah here's my character link
