I am currently in the process of refining and consolidating the rules for our version of Capture the Flag that we came up with a while ago. Yes, you heard that correctly. We play a (mostly) fledged out, functioning (until someone breaks it) version of 5e PvP (Player versus Player) Capture the Flag. We are still play testing and adding/changing rules with every game. We need 6 or 8 players for a game however and everyone knows that it is tricky to get that many people together on one day. I would like to run these games more often and as such would like to expand my player base.
I am first and foremost looking for experienced players. This should be someone who has a good grasp of the rules and game mechanics. If we have a newbie, we will play at level 5, but we would like to be able to play more at level 10, just to add to the craziness (… and the brokenness), so you should be able to handle a higher level character with relative ease. It seems like a game lasts roughly three hours, but it could also be more. We normally play Saturday evenings Central European Time, however I am open to playing other times as well. We play via video call, so anyone from across the world is welcome, as long as we can figure out a time (I've had people from Germany, the UK, Canada, the US and Japan play at once and someone always messes up the time zone!). Also if you would be willing to DM a round or two that would be awesome (It's just combat tracking and rules lawyering, so not too complicated)!
We try to stay respectful and relatively disciplined around the table. Rules can and should be discussed in a respectful way, however the final call lies with whoever is DMing the game! We also have a couple of house rules we like to play with (mostly Critical Role rules). As I said we are currently play testing rules, so I will ask for feedback at the end of every session and we can tweak rules then, however for consistencies sake rules will not change during a game unless everyone unanimously agrees with it. If you do not agree with these guidelines, then we would prefer not to have you at our table.
