Hi all,

I am hoping to start a new group. I am 47 years old. I DMed 2e many years ago, recently got into 5e through my kids. I have been DMing for them but want more.

Looking to start a group with 2-4 monthly meetings in the evenings,  8pm-11pm EST. Would probably want to start with Lost Mines with some modifications and potentially transition to homebrew from there if things go well.  Hoping to find 4-5 players who are into a mix of role playing and combat.

I am not sure about the platform. I'm open to in person sessions if people live close by (I live in NYC). I don't have any experience with any of the online platforms but I'm willing to try.

I'm interested, it depends on which evenings. I'd also probably prefer 2 times a month.

I'm 61, and have DM'd for my kids for many years.  In another 5 years I might be DM'ing for my grandkids.

I live in Sydney, AEST (or currently ADST). 8pm to 11pm for you is 11am to 2pm for me (I'm retired).

I've used DnD Beyond, and played on Discord & Role, but ready to learn others.  Obviously I can only do online, so no go if that's a problem.
