Backstory: I lived in the cabin with my eldest brother who basically took care of me ever since I was little. He didn’t say much about our parents, but I know that they had abandoned me when I was a baby. He thought I would remember it since I was a baby but then I see most of them. It was the dreams, showing me the scenes where my brother took me from my family & raised me. So he is more like a father to me. He taught me how to use a longbow & small self-defence with utilising a dart or dagger. One day, the soldiers came to the cabin & took my brother away from me. I begged them to leave him alone & they didn't but just to shove me away from them. My brother told me he would be all right and wait about a hundred night passed. But he didn't come back even after a hundred of the night. The rumour says my father took him back to the house for the next heir to our family but maybe this time I need to look for him.
If you want me to change the class or modify the story, please let me know. c:

Class: Ranger
Background: Archaeologist
Alignment: Chaotic Good
Availability to play: Anytime for now. I'm on EST
Backstory: I'm a packrat who never throws anything away. All my exploring is part of a plan to find the secret of everlasting life. That is rumored to be in a lost city I heard about as a child. He found sanctuary with two powerful men, Fai, a wizard, and Kurogane, the fighter, who taught him the way of magic and the blade. Now, Tsukasa has left their protection to defeat his father once and for all.
Availability to play: Tuesdays are preferable, but I can try and move some things around if I absolutely need to.
Backstory: For most of my life I was a family man. A simple farmer living with my wife and son. I awoke one morning to find them both murdered in their sleep, their blood covering my own hands. Unable to live with the idea of what I'd possibly done I tried to take my own life. In my final moments I was found and resurrected by an ancient order. They brought me back at first just to ask me about death and what it felt like, what happens after, and other strange questions like these. I found myself fascinated with the order. Their leader revealed that a dark entity had taken a hold over me. What that entity is exactly, he couldn't ascertain. All I knew was that I finally had something to blame for the deaths of my wife and son. I needed to learn more though. In search of answers, I ended up joining the order, becoming what they called a Blood Hunter. Monster Hunter seems more appropriate. I learned much from the order, new languages, a way of reading and writing in codes, unusual magics. Now I travel in search of answers. What is it that follows me, haunts my dreams, whispers in my ear? Why did it choose me? Why did it take my family? I'm unsure if I will find all the answers I seek. Only time will tell.
I am also willing to play a different class if need be, or if anything in the backstory needs to be changed, feel free to let me know!
My name is Summer, I'm pretty new to 5E but I promise I'm a fast learner, my character's name is Beyonce (I lost a bet please don't judge me), my race is half elf, class is sage, alignment is neutral good, I am free to play after 5est sunday, monday, tuesday, wednesday, thursday, and friday. I'm super good with animals and stealth and history. I studied almost my whole life and learned how to fight to protect knowledge handed down from my ancestors. I also can do magic, and have some cool items.
I don't see a time zone but depending on that I'd be interested in joining your group. I have two characters I can choose from, I'd love to rp whichever one.
1st is a human rogue named Yugo. The other character is an awakened cat.

wednesday nights would be the best for me, although i may not be able to some nights.
ive only been playing 5E for about a month, so I might need some help ajusting. thanks for your time.
5E Experience: ... the exact amount of experience I have with 5E can be kind of hard to determine, tbh, I watch Critical Role somewhat religiously so I've picked up stuff from there, and the game played at my old theatre department started out as 5e but for the small handful of games I was able to join up with them with was after they'd somewhat thoroughly thrown half the rules out the window and in true theater kid fashion just made it into a whole other thing... so I've got some grasp on 5e but not much
Character name: Kiara
Race: Human
Class: Wizard
Alignment: Chaotic good
Availability to play: I can do Wednesdays, probably any time in the late afternoon/evenings in pacific coast time, but week to week availability can sometimes be a hit or miss because Wednesdays can sometimes be work heavy nights with my current class schedule
Backstory: kind of a work in progress and flexible to change because this is one of my most recent characters and I'm not 100% sure on all the places I want to go with her, but basics - she's from a kind of noble family from her father's side and came into magic through her mother and her maternal family's history with learning and practicing it, and has spent most of her life with a magical school/community. What prompts her leaving is the disappearance of one of her childhood best friends who she grew up learning magic with within this community - he left to join up with a ship's crew to travel and expand his learning, and one day he and the ship never returned from what should have been a standard voyage.
If you are still looking for party members here is my application sheet if I work out for you.
Name: You can call me Sparky.
5E Experience: I am very new to actually playing the game. But I know somewhat the general gist/basics of the game with listening to the TAZ podcast and watching Critical Role content as well.
Character name: Ualan MacNiven
Race: Dragonborn
Class: Bard
Alignment: Lawful Good
Availability to play: I can play anytime after 3:30pm CST Monday - Friday. The only exceptions is Saturday and Sunday when I am helped with laundry on either one of those days. So I won't be available until later in the evening around 8 or 9 pm CST
Backstory: Ualan is a Brass Dragonborn born from a scholarly family. For many of his life, Ualan was wrapped up in following his family before him in reading manuscripts, scrolls, and listening to many. He has gained a lot of knowledge during his early years but that isn’t where his heart lay. Ualan has always wanted to pursue music as his goals in life, finding the sweet melodies, light arias, and strong ballads to be more exciting then what was inside dusty old tomes. As much as he is grateful for the knowledge that he has learned he is still young and wishes to see the world! Wants to spread the music he has come to learn and love and help people along the way.
So at the young age of twenty years, Ualan took off, saying his goodbyes to his family, and took up the ways of a bard and pursuing his love for music. Singing stories, spreading joy and the occasional bit of knowledge from what he has learned ever since he was young, and helping those and doing good when and where he is able. He loves doing good and enjoying the travels across the land. For the last five years, he has been enjoying himself, learning more things he could have ever learned while sitting in a room full of dust and parchment.
any weekday evening expect Tuesday and Friday, or any time Saturday. (Pacific time)
Backstory: years ago, the young earl Mortisire was saved from an invasion by a Lich and its minions by a wandering Wood Elf troop, lead by my father Laucian. Although seen as outsiders by the other nobles, the friendship between my father and earl continued and in an effort to show that we belonged with the other nobles; I, as the second son of the family, was made a page in earl's court. still young, even by human standards, I studied their traditions and introduced them to Elven music and lore while learning the basics of war. Before my 18th year, soon to be a Squire, I started to have visions, of being in battles and facing monsters. I thought this was just the imagining of young man wanting glory, but the court Magician believed them to be visions of my future, fueled by my magic potential. In an effort to protect the land from whatever my visions held, it was decided that I should leave the court and land and journy to find my envisioned companions and enemy. this was quite fine by me, elven wanderlust was already whispering to me. Having been given the basics of magic by the court magicain and been named a squire by the Earl, I was given a letter of introduction by him and gifts my parents, I left to find my destiny.
