1. I'm running a homebrew gestalt campaign called The Doom of Ilonduil at 10:30 PM EST on Tuesdays. (only time the schedules of all the players work) The campaign is currently at 4 players, and I certainly don't mind taking on another one. Right now the party has gone up to level 7.
Hook is: "A group of adventurers are stranded on an island isolated from the world, and yet the stage for a great conflict. The party must prevent a great, ancient evil from rising to ascending to the status of a dark god, all while preventing other powers from taking control of the island. If the party fails, not just Toril, but perhaps the outer planes themselves may be at risk of complete destruction."
2. I'm trying to start up a short campaign (maybe 2-5 sessions depending on how fast things go) sometime on either Saturdays or Sundays, set at about the same time as that first game, with a plot only somewhat tied to said first game.
Hook is: "An ambitious and likely very cunning young green dragon has kidnapped an artificer rumored to have created a revolutionary magical item. After the destruction of a nearby town, a band of adventurers is quickly collected from to go out and find/slay the dragon, as well as save the artificer from certain doom, all while discovering the truth of what he has created, and what the dragon may be using it for. Keep in mind, when traveling through the home of Green Dragons, you must keep your wits about you. For there may be a traitor among you, with their own ambitions that secretly put them against the party. As such, you must be cunning yourself to discover the truth, complete the mission, and survive."
