This is a highly unusual situation. I am a dungeon master for hire and I have recently been contacted by Fireball INC(which I have worked with before) to test their latest experiment: a 30-45 minute one shot game! They asked me to do as many runs as I could with various people and record all the sessions. Another thing they asked me to do was give players the opportunity to DM as they needed data from inexperienced DMs for the automatic GM AI they are developing and I really need some help, I need players and I will also give $5 to anyone who runs a game.  Working in groups of four, three players and a DM for every session run If you wish to run your own game, please remember to record it or else it is useless. Thank you!

This sounds interesting... and I have a fairly open schedule so depending when you're looking for I can probably be involved. I have a year of consistent play experience with 5e and years of solo creative worldbuilding/writing experience (just never had the right friend group and was too awkward to figure it out online) Have been wanting to get into DMing so if they need someone TOTALLY green to try it I might be a fit. Would you be supplying players for game if I end up running one or would I procure my own (something I can definitely do.) Also how would this need to be recorded?

Second, I should explain what I do, and don't, know about this game. So the way this apparently works is we roll dice to determine who is the GM and who is what player. Each person gets a specific sheet to look over for a short while before the game. I'm as blind as you will be to what the game is actually about, I've been instructed not to take a look at the sheets until the game starts. Since I'm going in blind I can't guarantee anything about content, although apparently the characters we will play are assigned rather than ones we make.
