Looking for weekly Campaign, Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday Evenings

Game:  D&D 5e

Group: Online

Experience:  Veteran

Location/Timezone:  Central

Schedule:  I prefer Tuesday, Wednesday, or Thursday late afternoons or evenings.  Weekly sessions preferred; would consider biweekly. 

Roles sought:  Primarily a player (can DM on occasion if needed for one-shots if regular DM is unavailable.

Game style:  I prefer a good mix of roleplay and combat, varying between casual and hardcore.  I'm not a practicing thespian or a murder-hobo, and don't want a group that leans too heavy in either direction.  I can do mature or family friendly.  Nothing makes me blush and my humor can sometimes run dark.  However, I'm also young enough to just barely be considered a millennial; so I grew up in the era of being taught to respect people's boundaries.  If someone draws a line and says please do not cross this, I will honor and respect that line.  Ultimately, I'm really just looking for a fun escape from my day-to-day, and a group of people to play make-believe with (with a smattering of jokes and friendly banter on the side). 

Paid:  I will consider pay 2 play campaigns.  Having GM'd, I appreciate the effort that it takes, and also recognize that the online tools cost $.

Personal Notes:  I've been playing table top rpgs for 20 or so years, on and off.  Some of the groups I've played with went for many years.  Others fizzled out quickly (usually due to people's real life issues).  I've never had to walk away from a group due to personality conflicts (I'm pretty easy going and can fit most crowds of people).  Due to several groups that fell apart too quickly because of scheduling and space issues, I decided to try going online.  I kickstarted Camp DnD in the hopes that it might scratch my itch, but the revolving door of one-shots and different players turned me off.  I'm hoping that joining an online group will help keep things more consistent and stable so that I can RP every week with the same group of soon-to-be friends.

I will be starting a new campaign up that will run Thursdays 8-11pm pst. It will be a paid game but I am willing to throw a free one shot for players to make sure this is the kind of game you are looking for. I am an old skool Thac0 guy but have been running 5e for the last 5 years. I have 3 games that have been going over 2 years and another over a year, if you want a stable fun game you will find it.
