This Curse of Strahd campaign is already significantly progressed, the party is currently lvl. 6 (Campaign goes to 14 I believe), though we are just getting out of the slow part and into the chaos, so this is the perfect time to get your character integrated into the story and caught up before the real fun begins! We unfortunately lost some players and are down to only 2 currently, so we need some passionate reinforcements to take up the torch and carry onward to victory!... Hopefully. This is Curse of Strahd after all, so who knows! I would also like to add that our DM plans on running another Ravenloft set campaign after this one, so you will be of course invited to join us on that next adventure from the vary start. Some homebrew is also allowed, per review, and we have a nice selection of some nice Dark Fantasy homebrew already available for you to use should you wish. (I also happen to be really good at making homebrew on DnD Beyond so am willing to take requests ;))
We are simultaneously a pretty chill group, yet a lot of the events seem genuinely intense and dangerous, which is a great dynamic. Plenty of fun and tomfoolery when we can, but also plenty serious when we need to be.
We are looking for some folks, who can ideally play a good game of DnD while really settling in to their characters and being a part of the world, great fun can be had that way. Of course, this is all just a game, so don't worry, none of us take things seriously enough that it becomes annoying or an issue. Its just nice to see the world come alive when everyone is fully into their characters, so join us and show us what you got!
I would also like to preface that I am not the DM but a player myself, and am just helping the DM recruit some new folks. I can genuinely swear that our DM is very hard working and reliable, while also being just really good at driving a story. He makes thing serious and scary in all the right ways and none of the wrong ones, and is very open and flexible to any feedback. Amazing guy, come see for yourself.
