So as stated I am a new player to DnD but with listening to TAZ and watching a lot of Critical Role content lately I have a general grasp of the game and have the 5e players handbook too though I still may need help since I am new and haven't played myself yet. But I do have an account ready here, obviously, a Roll20 account ready, and I do have a discord set up.
I live in the midwest so I am of central time standing. But I am pretty much available any day after 3:30 pm CST just to account for travel and work times for various things. Saturdays and Sundays may vary for I end up doing laundry on one of those days so I'm not available until later on in the evening depending on when I do so. Otherwise, I'm free game for later in the afternoon/evenings.
As for characters I have a Tiefling Rogue that I finished working out. But I also have a Dragonborn Bard that all I really would need to do is finish up his background for. And if you accept Critical Role content I also have a High Elf Blood Hunter that I also just really need to finish the background for as well.
I've thought about playing DnD before but never really was sure how to go about it. But after seeing more and more people get into it, and seeing people like the McElroys and finding out about Critical Role, made me more confident to get into this more along with seeing other friends as well into it. And a website like this and ones like Roll20 make this so much easier. So I am eager to get playing! To get my toes a little wet and join in on a fun campaign with people who will be patient with a newbie like me.
If you get this going let me know. I'm very interested.
In the same boat as you, never having really played a game but very familiar with basic mechanics due to Critical Role (have to say I'm enjoying the Second Campaign thus far).
I have a human fighter ready to roll out. Original, I know, but given my level of experience I think some of the more veteran players will be forgiving.
I would definitely like to see how a Bloodhunter plays mechanically.
I don't believe I'll have any scheduling conflicts. However, you may need to give me until Feb 25th as that is when I will be transferring to a dayshift position.
Let me trow my hat in too. I'm new as well and eager to start a campain with a nice group of people. I like to have fun and take the game serious when need be. As of right now, I have a Halfling Rogue that I'm working on and possibly a Dragonborn too. I don't know. I'm very interested in joining so please add me on Discord and PM me if this goes live on Roll20. Thanks

Hey New to D&D but would love to get in on this. Unfortunately Saturday doesn't suit me at this time but more than happy to play on Sundays.
Level 1 Ranger, soldier, human
Still happily looking but also glad to see there might be others interested.
Also, the second campaign of Critical Roll is amazing so far. Loving it.
