Experience level: Nearly 2 years as a player, almost 4-5 months as a DM, both as 5e
What do you want from a dnd group People I just can get along with and enjoy playing a game with.
What's off-limits? Honestly, I am fine with anything really, you would have to actually TRY to hit that point where I am uncomfortable about something.
Character ideas? I have many, from a build with 22 AC at 5th level, to a 4th level build that can do 20d6 if there is not a roof over them. Although, I do enjoy casual builds that aren't redonk like those 2 builds
If you will accept me into your group, you can either DM me here or on Discord at AlexSeran#3922
Experience level: Beginner-ish, I have a gist of the game from years of podcast listening and Critical Role watching
What do you want from a dnd group: A group of chill people who I can have a good time with, as well as making a story come to life!
What's off-limits? Nothing that I can think of!
Character ideas? I have a few characters at the ready, a tiefling sorcerer, a half-elf rogue, and a tiefling rogue but I'm open to making a new character for balance purposes!
What do you want from a dnd group: Looking for people who really get into their characters and role play
What's off-limits? Nothing
Character ideas? Shanks is druid cat who is embarrassed by her human form. Shes very independent and has a hard time with trust. She has a combination of healing, water, and fire magic.
Diy is a powerful mage, tinker type, Extremely clumsy, very socially awkward. Loves herbs and small animal companions.
Added you on discord my name is TilburyT#7737. Hope to hear back it's rare to see a game that fits my schedule!
Name/Age/Pronouns: Kyle, 26, He/ Him
Experience level: Been a player for just over 2 years and been writing my own homebrew campaign and setting for around 9 months but never DM'd. Good with rules and proficient with Roll20/ D&D Beyond/ Foundry VTT
What do you want from a dnd group: Looking for a group who enjoy all aspects of the game, RP, combat and story building. Enjoy playing with folk who like me, who love to contribute and make suggestions but can also respect the ideas and opinions of their peers. Whilst I like to get stuck in I also think that there is a time for encouraging others to take the stage as well. Want people who are going to feed eachothers characters and take interest in each others stories.
What's off-limits? Nothing off limits for me personally, just be accepting of people
Character ideas? - Quick Backstory for an artificer Goblin i've been wanting to play below
Like many of the simple minded goblin's littered throughout the lands, Wrench was named after the first item he shown an affinity for. For most goblin's this name becomes irrelevant for their lifestyle, but for Wrench it became a lifestyle.
By 6 years old Wrench was constructing wonders that would defy the minds of even the most brilliant surface dwellers of his age. It was therefore incredibly unfortunate for Wrench that none of his compatriots had the intelligence to appreciate his brilliance. In his underground burrow surrounded by simple Goblin's who only cared for weapons and pillaging, Wrench's talents went unused and unnoticed.
Like most Goblin's in the land Wrench's clan was only ever one poorly judged robbery away from being exterminated by a local adventurer, and that day came when he was just 12 years old.
Conveniently for him, the Gnome who killed every Goblin he'd ever known, was somewhat of an inventor himself. He saw Wrench's contraptions and whilst they were ugly, they had utility. And so, he took the poor orphaned Goblin away from the burrow and under his wing.
Eventually the pair would part ways, when Wrench decided he had more talent than the Gnome anyway, and wanted to start his own business. But even with all the smarts in the world, Wrench did not realise that no civilised folk would want to buy wares from him, a hideous goblin. At this point, desperate for money and with no other options, he decided to put his contraptions to use on the adventuring trail.
Experience level: I've been playing since 2nd edition, 1998, and I'm also a LARPer. I've been playing 5th ed for a little while now.
What do you want from a dnd group: Camaraderie, and good story. I'm less concerned with rules lawyering than everyone having a fun moment to shine!
What's off-limits? I'm very open to dark content, we're probably okay so long as there's no non-consensual stuff.
Character ideas? I have a few, I admit I'm on a warlock kick. A few: Non-binary Aasimar Hexblade Warlock using a whip, that does magical-girl transformations; non-binary Elegant Eldritch Warlock with a mad-scientist feel, NB Mercenary full of great one-liners and beatdowns.
Experience level: moderate? i've played two campaigns and a couple oneshots but the last time i played was about a year and a half ago so i may be a little rusty.
What do you want from a dnd group: friendship & fun! i love the collaborative aspect and having a good team is so important. it's also nice to be able to chat some and be friendly between sessions, and i love discussing character development and headcanoning and all that stuff even out of game!
What's off-limits? i try to avoid storylines that have anything to do with suicide and/or self harm, but other than that i'm pretty open. if anything were to ever come up i would absolutely communicate about it.
Character ideas? i have this druid elf i've never gotten to use who could be fun to finally bust out, or i've always really wanted to try my hand at a triton or a shifter. i'd want to know a little more about the campaign and what others in the group are thinking before making any final decisions, though. but character creation is my favorite part of dnd and i get super attached to all my characters so i promise that whatever i end up making i will pour a lot of love into them!
please message me on here if you'd like to get in touch and i'll provide my discord handle, i'd rather not post it publicly. thank you!
Experience level: I am self-taught, and have been DMing and playing for 2 years. I know a lot of the rules by rote.
What I want in a group: IDK, been a while since I played real DnD. All my other groups either disbanded early or didn't actually use official DnD rules. I have not yet played a real campaign to its natural conclusion.
What's off-limits: I am ok with most content, and my own character is pretty dark... Keep it PG-13-ish, and I'll be fine.
Character Idea: I'm playing a lawful-something, with good intentions, folk hero background, moral code and everything... NECROMANCER (caught you off guard, didn't I?)
Please shorten sessions, maybe 2 hours instead? I use est, but I have a converter, So 3-5 PST (6-8 EST) would be better... Thank you.
Name/Age/Pronouns: Rachel, 31, she/her Experience level: Been playing tabletops for about 10 years, and roleplaying for even longer! What do you want from a dnd group: A consistent group of players who love storytelling and get really invested in PCs and their friendships! What's off-limits? Not much, as long as touchier themes are handled with thought and care. Character ideas? Depends on what campaign you settle on! I've got a reborn half-orc who has been reanimated by nature spirits and a spooky harengon who used to be a hag's familiar, but I could come up with something new to make it fit ^^
My discord is ParagonInterrupt#8256, hope to hear from you!
Experience level: no actual experience, well prepared though
What do you want from a dnd group: players who like storytelling or anything what may or may not do very well in helping me detach from reality ( realy need something what make me stop thinking about stressfull job)
What's off-limits? I'm very open to dark content, we're probably okay so long as there's no non-consensual stuff.
Character ideas? I'm not very good at roleplay but want to get better. I like hack n' slash. I specifically want be a pallid elf so a game that would be friendly to that would be preferred.
Experience level: I've only been a player a few times, but normally I DM. I am also a voice actor and like to think I am good at improv.
What do you want from a dnd group: A chill, accepting group. I typically focus on having fun and telling a story. I like to avoid groups that sacrifice fun and story for following the rules to the letter.
What's off-limits? Nothing really as long as it is in good taste and no one is uncomfortable.
Character ideas? I am dying to play a Changling Ranger Drakewarden, but if you need comic relief I do have a goliath himbo type I based off Kronk.
Experience level: been playing off-and-on since college, been a DM for five years now
What do you want from a dnd group I'm really looking to get back into playing! I haven't been a PC for years, except for one-offs. Ideally I'd like some friendly, flexible folks who enjoy the game and can work together well.
What's off-limits? I'm pretty okay with most things - **** is probably my only serious no-go.
Character ideas? Aasimar monk, human rogue, half-elf sorcerer.
Experience level: Newbie, who's known to get immersed in roleplaying games of all kinds.
What do you want from a dnd group: Honestly, I'm looking for a group of good friends who are willing to go slay some monsters, drink a pint, and get some gold! I'd love open mindedness, good humor, and folks who can work as a team to accomplish any feat.
What's off-limits? Any assault towards women, children, or the elderly.
Character ideas? I'm a half-orc Ranger with an affinity for Giant slaying.
