Campaign length: ~1 year (Weekly sessions, 3 - 4 hours in length.
Time: TBD, no Friday, Saturday, or early Sunday. I'm in CST for reference.
Looking for: 4 - 6 Players. Must be above 16, mature, and respectful of other people's gender, sexuality, race, ETC. Goofyness is allowed of course.
Other basic info: Using Roll20, DDB, and Discord. Setting becomes an open world after a few sessions, with a recommended but not required path. Combat oriented, but roleplay is encouraged and given time.
For the last nine months, I've been DMing a homebrew campaign for a few friends of mine. Influenced by a few years of creative writing, music, and revisions made due to lots of unfortunate accidents my PC had to go through as I learned about combat balance, it's a story and a world I somewhat feel confident sharing. As a not so experienced DM, I definitely need some improving, and I feel running another campaign would help. Without giving much away, here's a little intro to the setting:
"Brookstand is an archipelago of different groups, all working together to bring protection, peace, and prosperity to each other's operations. However, as the world around Brookstand is erupting in chaos in seemingly random and different ways, many of the archipelago's leaders fear for the future of there operations, which barely have enough workers to perform them as is. With some divine and dark assistance, and the decision to draft a small team of able bodies via a lottery system, Brookstand hopes to put an end to the bizarre and deadly events nearby without bringing attention to themselves or causing panic among it's residents."
Message me on discord (Birdman#9782) if you're interested. Before I gather everyone together, I will try to get everyone's availability before we make an actual party. Therefore, it may take 1 - 2 weeks before players are chosen.
