Hi :) I'm hoping to start up a new D&D 5e game in the next week or two. If you're interested in joining the fun check out the details below.
*What*: A potentially long term campaign based in the Forgotten Realms setting that starts off with the classic starter set adventure the lost mine of Phandelver. If the group seems to get along well then we'll move into a more sprawling sandbox adventure based on Storm King's Thunder. That means there will be a central storyline but plenty of chances to delve into character backstories. I'm a fan of all 3 pillars of D&D (roleplay, combat, exploration) so I'll match what the group likes.
*When*: 6 or 7pm GMT+9 (Japan time) on Mondays or Wednesdays depending on people's availability.
*Where*: **Voice and Video** over Discord. Character sheets in Dndbeyond. Owlbear rodeo for combat visuals. (I have a strong preference for video so I can actually see what people are feeling)
Who: Cool, nice, fun, non jerks. But more specifically:
* Players interested in epic stories but with a focus on character relationships. I'm a fan of playstyles like Dimension20 and Critical Role which feature huge challenges but allow for a lot of time goofing off with friends.
* Generous role players. In collaborative roleplay, each player gives play to others. They “play up” someone by acting afraid of them if they are a villain, giving in if they are roleplaying a bully, or being admiring if they are playing a hero. Collaborative actors also learn to include others in their scenes and plots, and not to hog the spotlight, but rather to share it.
* PC adventurers that actually want to live the life of an adventurer. If you have a really cool idea for a lone wolf type ranger that doesn't trust anyone this might not be the campaign for that character. Because of the sandbox nature of this campaign, you guys will be guiding where we go and what happens. If your characters have no desire to solve problems/help people/travel in an adventuring party then the campaign will likely fall apart.
* Players looking for a long term campaign with the time and energy to commit to *attentively* play D&D for 3 hours each week.
* Players that are 20 years old and above.
* Player with a webcam and decent internet.
* AND MOST IMPORTANTLY! Players that want to actually make friends. The dream is that we end up with a group of interesting, respectful people that can actually support and trust each other.

Also I am a woman so I'm hoping to have a even male to female ratio in the group. Or at least not all men.
