I'm slowly testing the waters in order to find a good group of players for a homebrew campaign! I like to run a RP heavy game, with combat and exploration woven in to serve narrative and players' interests. As to the tone of the game, I'm open to most genres and will do my best to accommodate the players' interests, but will state up front that I'm not looking to run a goofy, shits-and-giggles kind of game. There will be room for fun and mischief as I feel that a good story would include those elements as well, but I come to this from a "story first" perspective, so I would expect the same from my players.
A little info-dump about myself is in order, I believe. I'm a 28 year old fellow (he/him) from Finland. Fairly new to the world of TTRPGs, but have found my place as the resident DM/GM for the groups I've played with. As mentioned before, I'm looking to tell and create a story with a good group of people and run the game with that mindset. I have some homebrew rules as well as some other homebrew stuff/limitations, but wouldn't say it's anything major.
The little info-dump I would like to know about you below:
Name (or nickname, don't tell your real name to strangers on the internet, people!) Age Pronouns Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG
Hit me up with a DM here on DNDBeyond if you're interested and/or have some questions and we'll chat more.
Name Trey and probably my wife as well Age 36/30 Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs: Been playing DND since June and addicted Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG: Only bad experience is all in person games have fallen apart
Looking for Tues/Thur evening games EST not to go past 11 PM
Name: Jack / SpicyGriffin Age: 23 Pronouns: He/Him Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs: Around five years as both DM and player with dnd 5e and a tiny amount of CoC Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG: Really tough but it has to be the whole first adventure I ran for the sunless citadel. An adventure that felt perfect at the time.
Location/Timezone: UK / GMT Availability: Mon-Thurs 7-10.30pm
Name Anjel Age. 22 Pronouns. She/her Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs I have been playing for a little over a year but most of the time they fell apart before we could finish so I’ve really only been in 1 finished campaign before. Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG Greatest would be when my party was in a cave of curses that were absolutely ridiculous (face-butt swap, sad rain cloud constantly over your head, every thing you say has to be sung, etc). They were fun to act out. I don’t think I have any worst memories of DND, I mean my characters have made mistakes and done some pretty awful things but they were for plot and character development reasons initially. Ive been pretty lucky with my current campaigns and dms so far.
I am pretty flexible on time in terms of late afternoon/evenings for me (PST) except Thursday’s and sundays. But I do have some mornings available on Saturday too.
Oh, what the heck. Name: Ziew Age: 21 Pronouns: He/Him Experience: Played D&D 5e as a player for 2 years. Usually as a mage. Memories: Worst/most memorable was when we banished a player from our party when he set an entire grain field on fire to kill a single bandit. Then he showed up later with his new character, a literal clone of the first. He then pulled his own head off, revealing himself to be a skeleton. In the middle of a town. With a good-aligned party. He got exorcised.
Best memory, I'd say, would be the time that a goblin threatened to drop a KO'd member of the party off a cliff, and our rogue tackled them both away from the edge (jumping over the pit). He then tried to kill the KO'd party member, but rolled a natural 1 and the fighter regained consciousness as a result (We had house rules for natural 1s and 20s). Then the goblin was pushed off the edge in retaliation. That party member had gone down to 0 hp three or four times in the same combat. I nicknamed them 'The Undying', because that wasn't even the first time she survived against all odds.
As for time, I'm fairly flexible: I'm AEDT, which makes time a bit tricky, but any time after 8am during weekdays except Wednesday evening would be great. Weekends are also okay, but weekdays preferred. DM me if you wanna talk :3
Name: deino, (dee-NOH) Age: 21 Pronouns: Any; most people use she/her! Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs: I've been a player in a consistent DND campaign for about a year and a half, and I just started to run my own campaign last month! I've roleplayed without the medium of tabletop games for much longer- I'd say ten years or so. I'm very passionate about crafting my characters and seeing how they can interact with others! Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG: My worst memory was DMing a session where a player said, "So, is anything going to happen?" when most of the actions were player-driven. My favorite memory is when my character cast Banishment on a big bad, sending him to a demi-plane and reversing what could've been a horrible hostage crisis- high risk, high reward!
I'm in EST. I can't do Friday nights or Tuesday nights, and Wednesday nights would be doable, but not preferred. Other than that, I'm fairly flexible, as it's my last semester of college and I'll have more time for leisure.

Greatest memory I have in dnd is when I made my players cry over the death of an beloved npc. Takes a whole lot to move people in this game and not a lot of people are super serious about rp'ing but dam that made me sad, proud, and emotional for a solid hour and a half as they took in the knowledge that there was no getting her back. Its a sad example but I think it was one of the more real moments I've seen.
Im available Wednesdays, Thursdays, Saturdays, and Sundays after 6pm EST. Im fine with running late into the night just as long as we are not cresting the 1am to 2am games. Those are a ***** to wake up to the next morning.
Hi there! I'm Jake (they/he), and I'd love to be involved! I've been DMing for about 2 years now, and have played on and off for the same amount of time (typical games-fall-apart curse). I've been a writer and performer for most of my life, so I'm very comfortable and excited by role-play, teamwork, and group engagement. One of my best D&D memories is having my rather cold Lawful Neutral cleric set a house full of assassins on fire in the middle of the night. Violent retribution, baby!!! I definitely hold story above all else and am not a chaos for its own sake type of player, despite what that good memory might indicate lolol. I also had a druid PC absolutely destroy an arcane murder mystery I'd set up for them with a single Speak with Plants spell: they found a druidic tailor who sold living plant trousers, and the druid asked them to describe what happened in the shop the night of the murder. Speak with PANTS for the win! I work overnight shifts in PST, so I'm usually available to play between 4 and 10pm PST. For the foreseeable future, I won't be available on Saturdays or Tuesdays, but otherwise I'm all free!
Experience with D&D or other TTRPGs: new to dnd, finished playing in a short campaign recently. Watched a bunch of critical role and that's it lol
Greatest and/or worst memory with D&D or other TTRPG: don't have a lot, but throughout the campaign our 8ft tall goliath carried my Elven ranger around almost everywhere, across traps. Was very fun to role-play that :)
I am available on Saturdays and Sundays 9 am to 3 pm EST
Hey! I'm definitely interested in hearing more about this!
Name/Nickname: On the internet I'm usually known as Karp!
Age: 23
Pronouns: he/him
Time zone: EST, so a seven hour difference, but playing earlier would probably work better for me anyway!
Experience: I've been playing D&D for about three years now (wow it doesn't feel that long), mostly as the DM for my two current campaigns. But with the campaign that started back in 2019 coming to an end at the end of the year (people moving away.) I'm looking to find some more ways to play, along with getting more experience being a player!
Greatest D&D moment: Gosh there's so many.. The time the Cleric and Paladin rushed ahead into an ambush intended for the whole party... But still won, barely. The conversation two players had after they lost an ally. A beautiful speech by our Cleric to convince an antagonist to come back to life and help take down her boss. Skydiving off of Airships as Giant Eagles to sneak into places. "Why is there purple fog???". Oh the list could keep going.
You seem to be getting a decent few responses, so don't worry if you don't pick me, or you've already got a full party, but thanks for reading this!

Hello and thank you all for reaching out! Way more people that I had expected have reached out and I will now start going through the responses and contacting people for possible seats on the game. Unfortunately, I don't have time to reply to everyone, so if you do not receive any contact from me in the next week, thank you for applying and I wish you good fortune in the wars to come. I will now be closing and eventually deleting this post. Cheers, all!
