*CRITICAL ROLE SEASON 2 SPOILERS*
*CRITICAL ROLE SEASON 2 SPOILERS*
*CRITICAL ROLE SEASON 2 SPOILERS*
The year is 866pd, roughly 30 years after the adventures of the Mighty Nein. Peace between the Dwendalian Empire and the Kryn Dynasty has lasted, however, not without some expected tension. Trade has been established between the two nations and many individuals and organizations are benefitting heavily from the war's end. Citizens in both nations are disgruntled over war crimes seemingly being ignored and dubious behavior being swept under the rug to hold the peace. The underbelly of Wildemount is thriving and filled with fervor as many restrictions during the war have been lifted. The inhabitants of Wildemount may feel the illusion of peace, however, the continent is far from any true respite.
Players will begin their adventure in the coastal, "Garden City" of Feolinn in the Menagerie Coast. News has spread of an urgent request from Lord Kyphin Tinnel about a missing individual and property. He is seeking skilled individuals to help him and will reward handsomely for their work. Details on how players arrived at Feolinn and why they are looking for such a job will be created at the session 0.
Info: Hey! My name is Brian and I am 22 y/o. I am a moderately experienced DM looking for 5-6 players(maybe 7 if it isn't already too hectic) for an online Wildemount Campaign following the events of the Mighty Nein. I am a fan of Critical Role and finally have the time and means to put some energy into creating a group of players who want to experience the world of Exandria. I am primarily looking for players that have seen Critical Role season 2, but it isn't a hard requirement. You are welcome to apply as an individual or a premade group. My goal would be to try and establish a solid group for a rule-casual game, but with fairly serious intentions of creating a long-lasting adventure and friendship(like the show). As a DM, I have run a number of games in past years, but typically focused on low level one-shots and mini-campaigns. I would be running this game with a Theatre of the Mind format, as I unfortunately suffer with a nerve condition that makes long hours clicking on the computer a bit of a pain. Spending a lot of time crafting battle maps and doing stuff in roll20 is not ideal in my situation. This campaign is definitely a step out of my comfort zone, and I haven't DM'd in years. If you are looking for a professional DM, unfortunately you will have to look elsewhere. I do promise to try my best though :)
