Welcome to Eternarii, an ancient world of fallen empires, dissolved kingdoms, and sprawling wastes. In this land the tapestry of history is richly woven from lore, myth, and legend. Towns never quite become cities and progress is made slowly if ever. In the town of Vinaar, citizens are just going about their day. In the market square, a sickening sound is heard as the sun disappears. Before their eyes the people of Vinaar see a ruin appear where once there had stood nothing. The air is pierced by a demonic howl. In a blink, the sun returns and the ruin vanishes along with a group of townspeople.
These townspeople awake in an unrecognisable place and now have a choice: to find a way home, or embark on a journey that will change the course of Eternarii's future.

Hello. My name is Nabukad, I'm 26 and live in Turkey. I spent most of my teen and adult years hating DnD, whenever I saw something related to it I got infuriated. Not because I hated it, but because I couldnt play it while everybody else enjoyed something I didnt have means to enjoy. I live in a fairly conservative city with close to 0 people whom I can share my interests with. Now that I have time and found out rpg games can be played online too, I wanted to give it a try. I'm no stranger to fantasy worlds, in fact I'm writing fantasy book as of the moment. I love this shit. Even thinking about playing an ttrpg game with friends gets me excited through the roof.
(Disclosing this in case it's a big deal for you) Now, since Turkey's currency, TL, also known as shitcoin, has dipped beyond belief, if I wanted to get the books originally it would have costed me half of Turkey's minimum wage so I pirated them as of the moment, I'm genuinely sorry for doing this.
I have Players Handbook, Tasha's Couldron, Volo's Guide, Xanathar's Guide and Sword Coast Adventurer as of now. I have created a character (didnt make sheet yet) that I want to play, a Protector Aasimar Hexblade, and am willing to make changes (but it would destroy me) as the DM deems necessary. I also created a specific background but can pick from choices if need be.
My English is fairly decent. Any group of people are welcome by my side, although I dont fare well with racists and aggresive conservatives. I started watching Critical Role recently, and I know real games may differ from it so no unfair expectations from my side. I'm just looking for a group who can embrace a total beginner.
