My name is Brox, I'm 30yrs Old, Semi-experienced 5e Player, looking for a Saturday night crew to DnD with for a Long Campaign!

Looking for a Mature Group of Adults 25yr+ who want to embark on a long running campaign starting at level 1. Would love an experienced GM who has a homebrew world to share. I'd also like to stick to traditional DnD/5e in the sense of High Fantasy vs putting in Star Trek technology elements. 

I'd also like to find a game that is more RP heavy than Combat. Something of an 70/30 mix rather than a 50/50. I'm one of apparently a few people who doesn't mind having small encounters each week rather than 1 large encounter that takes up the entire 3 hours. I like to RP and have character dialogue more than just saying what spells were rolling dice for. 

With that being said, I am also looking for a group where Backstories are not used, and that our players don't have to adhere to a historical background, but rather we are new adventurer's embarking on our first jobs. Why you might ask?

The last 4 or 5 campaigns I've tried to be apart of the DM gets all the characters backstories and instead of telling us HIS story of HIS world, he tries to make everyone's backstories intertwine with the campaign. It becomes a hodgepodge of a mess almost immediately, because there is far to much focus on the backstories rather than the Arc we are in. So I'd prefer finding a game where Backstories don't matter and we can focus on the game, and the world we are in. 

If there is a DM out there that this sounds good too, let me know I'd be interested in starting a group together or joining one, but preferably a campaign that is fresh not one that is already 5-6 sessions deep.

I am very interested in joining in for a weekly game, I am looking for a long term campaign with more role play than combat. Your adventure sounds like a perfect match for me. I can bring my cleric to the table if you are in need. I am in Atlantic standard time. 

I am interested in joining a group, I'm 31 so I fit the adult criteria, I have a whole bunch of characters on here ready to go, I don't mind not having a backstory and in fact I think I have a great character that would fit that. I hope I'm not too late...

I've been playing and DMing since 1983, so I technically qualify as an adult.  I decided to give 5th Edition a whirl and just bought the 3 core books.  So I bring a lot of experience but coming with fresh eyes on the new edition.  Want to come in on the ground floor of a campaign Level 1 and I'll play just about any character that fills a needed role.  Who am I kidding?  Paladin.

I'm happy at the response. But we need a GM/DM who'd fit the criteria. I know there's loads of players, but I can't do much gamewise until I have a DM willing.
