We're two players (potentially a third) looking for a homebrewed campaign to join during the week. We both have availability around 3pm PST to 9PM PST Monday through Thursday. We're hoping for a world that's rich in lore and has a lot of exploration possible. We'd love for it to be an RP-focused game, but we're also happy to do meaningful combat. I'd say around 50% RP, 25% combat, 25% exploration. That can fluctuate though depending on where we're at in the world and how far into the plot we've gotten.
We're really into exploring ancient ruins, uncovering old world artifacts, etc. So if that could be in the game, that would be awesome! However, we're open to other types of games as well so long as it maintains a medieval fantasy element (clockwork/steampunk & dark fantasy can be sprinkled in). We might also be interested in Strixhaven stuff as well! But maybe as a precursor to a long-term campaign outside of the school. We're also totally open to a DM coming to us with a blank slate for a world and working our stuff into it. We're nerds when it comes to worldbuilding. We'd also be open to joining an existing game!
We'd prefer to have milestone-based leveling, it would be great to be able to roll for stats, homebrew rules here and there that might the game more fun and less strict (like BA potion drinking). We're not here to be minmaxers or scream about the player's handbook. We want a DM who does the Rule of Cool.
A big bonus would be having gods/deities or higher beings that actually interact with the world and characters. We both love seeing that in our games! This goes along with the lore stuff, as we will definitely utilize your campaign's lore in our backstories.
We play over Discord Voice and use Roll20 as our tabletop simulator. We would be open to learning other tabletop sites so long as they are free to use. We don't have many triggers, but we'd like to avoid sexual assault, monologues about child/animal death, your standard shit here.
A side note: we would be down to do a podcast for our game, and can easily wait a bit to see how people mesh before starting it up.
Side side note: We'd prefer playing with specifically LGBT+ folks. We're all LGBT+ in our friend group and feel comfortable with that crowd. However, if you're a diehard ally, then by all means reach out. Please only be 18+ since we are horrible folks with dirty humor sometimes.
Hey! We're vetting players for a new campaign, Village Guardians. We are LGBT+, RP focused, avoiding all triggers everywhere, and interested in chatting more! Feel free to DM if interested, and we can chat more.
