Roles sought: Looking for 2 more players!
Game style: Looking for Beginner Players for Starter Campaign: Lost Mine of Phandelver!
==============================
DM Teague’s weekly Lost Mine of Phandelver campaign is for those new to D&D. If you are hoping to move from one-shots to a campaign this will be the game for you! This tale has a wild west flare within the fantasy world of Faerun (Forgotten Realms). The same world that hosts heroes like Drizzt, Elminster, Volo, and Minsc. Will you join them in their fame?
Module Introduction
Gundren Rockseeker, a miner and one of the three Rockseeker brothers, is preparing to return to the frontier town of Phandalin and has hired you and your new companions to be his escorts. On the morning you were set to depart, you awake to find that Gundren has gone ahead with his bodyguard Sildar Hallwinter. Gundren left a note with the innkeeper asking your new party to bring a covered wagon to Barthen’s Provisions in Phandalin to receive a handsome payment. Together, your new party set out along the highroad and eventually on to the Triboar Trail. This is where our story begins…
Player Requirements
A stable internet connection.
Audio that allows us to hear you over Discord.
A minimum of 4 players signed up to play.
Ability to arrive on-time for the game at 6:00 PM GMT.
A way of paying the $10 (USD) per session (after session 0) per player via Startplaying.
Session 0:
In this free session we will cover ground rules, align expectations, character build, get to know each other, and play through a quick one-shot. The play time in this session will help you get into character as well as get a sense for my style of DMing! Try before you buy.
A Player Primer
Lost Mine of Phandelver is an adventure for characters starting at 1st level. During the course of the adventure, the characters will advance to 5th level. The adventure is set a short distance from the city of Neverwinter in the Sword Coast region of the Forgotten Realms setting. The Sword Coast is part of the North — a vast realm of free settlements surrounded by wilderness and adventure. You don’t need to be a Forgotten Realms expert to join the adventure but if you have some knowledge please talk to the DM about it and we can work it into your character’s backstory.
You should play Lost Mine of Phandevler if you:
Are a beginner to intermediate player.
Love classic fantasy tropes and themes.
Want to engage with a character-driven story that pushes you to develop relationships with multiple vivid NPCs and factions.
Enjoy setting your own goals and pursuing means of achieving them.
Enjoy the idea of facing off against a faction that is working in the shadows.
Want to participate in a fun experience that will create memories to last a lifetime.
Want to play weekly in 3 hour sessions.
Why Pay to Play?
D&D requires knowledge of the rules. I have access to all of these through D&D Beyond and assets on Roll 20.
Low turnover of players. Payment ensures commitment and respect for your time
D&D requires a place to play and for us it is on Roll20 and Discord. I will help players navigate the interfaces.
I will have an organized and complete campaign that is responsive to the players interests and character’s goals.
I invest hours into the game preparation and complete world and story building in alignment with the players and character interests.
I also bring detailed maps, tokens, music, and background images to the game to enhance your immersion.
Non-player Characters (NPC’s) are flushed out and will be voiced according to their personalities.
Session 0 is free.
If you are not satisfied with your experience your money will be refunded.
You will have access to all my D&D Sourcebooks through D&D Beyond.
