Hello! I've been trying to find a game where I can play my tiefling cleric, Wildery. Preferably something that starts kind of low level - maybe 3 or 5? I think it would be interesting if it was a campaign that at least doesn't start as a traditional adventure since she doesn't see herself as an adventurer type (but is very curious and could be drawn in by the pursuit of knowledge or discovery), but that's not a must.
ABOUT WILDERY:
Wildery is a knowledge cleric to Sehanine (or whoever's closest if you have a homebrew world). Wildery is her second virtue name. When she was about 7 and someone introduced her to the idea of "choosing a name that embodies something you value," she announced, "I value Strudels, so I will be Strudel!" A few years later, she was playing some kind of fantasy scrabble game with a friend and put down "wildery" and when they said that wasn't a word, she declared it was now her virtue name and thus a word (later learned the rule about proper nouns). Currently, she would be in her late teens/early 20s, depending on what works best for your game.
Basically, her parents and their friends were adventurers who saved their community and got a lot of acclaim, and Wildery...has kind of a big inferiority complex about it. She has a dexterity dump stat, her work as a cleric is essentially that of a librarian, she's a bookworm not a fighter, all that. She's very smart, generally nice, and a little quirky, but that's kind of all she feels she has going for her, esp compared to the people she's grown up around.
ABOUT ME:
Hi! I've been playing D&D since 2016 and I love it very much. I am a heavy roleplayer, since I kind of come at it from the background of a fantasy writer/former theatre kid. I prefer to play with safety tools - at the very least lines and veils/x cards. I am 30 years old, I am queer and so are most of my dnd characters, and I do freelance work from home full-time so I have a very adjustable schedule. I'm generally free any time Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and Sunday. I can play during the day on Wednesday and have alternating Fridays free. I also LOVE playing healers so if you're in need of a cleric (or a paladin or a ranger that generously uses healing spirit/cure wounds), I gotchu.
Howdy, I am currently looking for a player for my Tuesday night game, as we just had a player have to leave this session, and have another that is having school issues and it is looking like they will have to leave as well. The game is played online through text and VC on the application telegram and we start at 8 pm (central time) on Tuesday nights, if you think you might be interested please let me know. Thank you for your time.
Thanks! How much of it is over VC and how much is text? The time sounds great, I just tend to prefer live (voice and/or video) for the most part to text when it comes to dnd.
Right now I am sad to say its mainly Text, been trying to get it to VC but the last two sessions we have had issues, but the goal is to go mostly VC with me using text to compliment stuff.
I am starting an adventure Tuesdays at 10am PST. I am going to be running Dragon of Icespire Peak, Stormlord's Wrath, Sleeping Dragon's Wake, and Divine Contention Running level 1-13. It is VC on Discord and it is a paid game ($5 per session), I explain my reasons for it being paid in my main post here: https://www.dndbeyond.com/forums/d-d-beyond-general/looking-for-players-groups/130515-looking-for-players-essentials-kit-full-adventure .TLDR I have found players to be flaky when there isn't a deposit or something like that which can really suck for people who do show up for every session, also the online platforms do have subscriptions as well as needing to buy content on their site to make it runnable.
If you have any questions or anything else just let me know :)
Hi! Honestly, paid games are valid and your rates sound REALLY reasonable, I'm just in a really rough financial situation right now (like two months into "ahhhh I don't know if I'll be able to pay my rent" and barely eking by) so it might not be a good time for me to get into a paid game. Best of luck with it, though!

Totally get it, hope you find a game it looks like you really have thought out this PC :)

Hmm. I think I really would prefer mostly VC right now. If your campaign gets to that point, let me know? But thank you for the response regardless!

Not gonna spam it too hard, just giving this a little bump.
