Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online, Discord, Play-by-Post only Experience: New Location/Time zone: CST Schedule: Fridays, starting at 7pm CST Roles sought: 2-4 players; I am 16 and would prefer people close to myself in age; must be okay with a newbie DM Game style: Hoping for RP heavy
It has been centuries since The Collapse. No one still living remembers what happened or why, just that everything changed. From the wreckage emerged a new civilization, built on what remained.
Many races went extinct during The Collapse. Many others had their numbers drastically reduced. Only humans came out the other side stronger than before. Humans are now the most populous and powerful race in the world and control much of the political scene. But their are still others. Elves cling to what remains of the old ways. Halflings still survive here and there. Gnomes have been seen on occasion. Goblins isolate themselves.
Magic is rare but revered. Sorcerers are trained from birth to serve their kingdom. Sometimes they can even train others in their craft, creating other types of magic users. Everyone knows magic comes from the sun, the moon, the stars, air, earth, fire, and water.
The human kingdom of Radine and the elven kingdom of Galaria have formed a joint mission to investigate recent magical anomalies. You and your teammates have been tasked with writing a report on what you think is causing these anomalies. But what you find may bring more questions than answers.
This is a homebrew setting of my own creation. All races not specifically mentioned above are extinct in this setting and cannot be played. Also, I have created seven homebrew subclasses for you to use based on this setting's magic system. In summary:
Sun-Touched are masters of time and prophecy. They reveal hidden truths through divination.
Moon-Touched are masters of dreams and reality. They fascinate the senses through illusions.
Star-Touched are masters of light and shadow. They control life through necromancy.
Air-Touched are masters of movement and presence. They summon objects through conjuration. They also specialize in air and weather-based evocations.
Earth-Touched are masters of safety and shield. They protect others through abjuration. They also specialize in earth-based evocations.
Fire-Touched are masters of emotion and influence. They manipulate the mind through enchantments. They also specialize in fire-based evocations.
Water-Touched are masters of sense and space. They alter physical properties through transmutation. They also specialize in water-based evocations.
We have two players for sure, but three dropped out and am looking for two or three to replace them. The party currently has a human fighter and a gnome bard. If you are interested in joining this campaign, please tell me your name (or nickname), age, time zone, availability, character idea, and any other relevant details.
Hi, my name is leo, I'm 17, and this sounds like a blast, if you still have room, could I play a half elf? Also, are there only the little green goblins, or can we still use Hobbs and bugbears?

Oh and for the characters I’m thinking of being a halfling cleric (or sorcerer) and my friend wants to be a human paladin.
