DM putting feelers out for interested players...

Hi there,

I'm David, and I've been playing/DMing DnD 5e for the last three years or so with a group of my closest friends. However, our schedules rarely align to the point where we can play on an even remotely regular basis. As such, I've taken to this forum to see if there are any people interested in playing using an online format.

A little about me: I'm a 26 year old Landscaper based out of Washington state (PST). I got into a DnD a few years ago by way listening to podcasts while working (TAZ, NADDPOD, Crit Role, etc). Eventually, I was able to convince my friends to start playing with me, but because we are all adults with drastically different schedules we only get to play once a month, or sometimes every other month. This has led to us starting, and stopping a bunch of campaigns without ever actually finishing one. However one of my resolutions this year was to take time to do things I enjoy more often, and I really like DMing! I'm not sure how much traction this post will get, but if there are players out there looking to join a game, I would love to DM for you!

As far as my play style goes, I enjoy all the drama, role playing, and suspense that comes with your average adventure, but most importantly I like to keep things lighthearted and funny. Ideally I'd be looking for a group of 3-4 players that can make themselves available on a weekly, or biweekly schedule. I've introduced plenty of people to DnD in the last few years, so I don't mind taking on new, or completely inexperienced players even. I should mention that I've only ever run games in person, so as of right now I'm functionally illiterate when it comes online technology like Discord or Roll20, but I'm more than willing to learn.

I'm definitely interested in potentially joining a DnD game. I used to GM Vampire and Cyberpunk for my group of friends so I'm comfortable with story game, but that's since ended and I haven't had a chance to play 5e in a good while.

I would be very interested. I've been playing D&D since 1e but I hadn't played in years. I started DMing 5e for my kids a few years back. I would love to actually play again. My schedule is kind of weird (I work 24 hour shifts) but I should be able to make at least an every other week game.

Hi I'm very interested in joining, I work graveyard shifts, though I'm free Wednesdays-Fridays. I'm 29, new to dnd though I have tried one run through already but we fell off due to a schedule change from the dm. I too am based out of Washington. I'd be down for online and can utilize discord as well as some software I downloaded from steam if need be. Because I'm new I would be open to all playstyles until I find one that really fits me but based off of online videogames I'm into RP esc tones and if comfortable enough with groups may grow to do fully rpd characters. Right now if I had to say I'd be probably considered a casual. Only tried 5e so that's all my knowledge.

shes a bit of a flirt (not gonna seduce a dragon, very selective who she seduces but willing to use that to gain advantage for her party aka "seductive interrogation")   but can be a firecracker of trouble that loves the occasional glass of red wine and bar brawl
