Game: D&D 5e Group preferred: Online Experience: All skill levels accepted Location/Timezone: 7 pm Est 4 pacific Availability: Preferred role: DM / Player Game style: Diverse table lots of opportunity for roleplay, but the campaign is focused on combat as a means of progression.
Welcome to the jungle! The island of Chult is a treacherous place, filled with prehistoric predators threatening your party at every step. Exploration and unforgiving combat will test your decision making and tactical awareness to the limit!
Two tendays (weeks consisting of ten days) have passed since a plague of unknown origin started attacking the vitality of individuals who have been resurrected from the dead. Many have already fallen, and still more are slowly wasting away. In addition, no one has been successful in returning lost souls back since this ordeal has started.
Your party will originate in the Waterdeep area and are readily looking to help out with this threat. This is a great campaign for roleplay, exploration, and combat. Be prepared to lose player characters combing through the wild. Many adventurers are surveying Chult to reinforce the party in the event of death so do not get discouraged!
My tables are a safe space to get away from the stresses of day-to-day life. If any individual acts inappropriately to anyone at my table, I will not hesitate to remove the offender, so please be on your best behavior.
Player’s Expectations - I understand the everyone has a life, but please respect the time of everyone at the table. Give advanced notice of absence so that others in the party can make plans if a session cannot be run. - Be ready to join in discord voice chat and have working headphones or a mic set up. Having feedback distracts everyone from the game. - Don’t use your character as a cudgel to do ******* things. Respect everyone at the table and their characters. DM’s Expectations - I am open to allowing content from any Dnd 5e Material source, and if you have ideas from homebrew, we can talk about how to balance such an idea. - I will be on time and ready to provide content for you week to week and give notice in advance for conflicts in the schedule (Very rarely will this happen, generally limited to player availability and major holidays.) - I am looking to run sessions lasting approximately 3 hours with breaks at the hour mark (Stretch those legs and move around a bit. Hydrate!) but will have time after a session in case a serious event is taking place nearing the end of the session. If you find the above appealing and agree to follow through with the expectations from week to week leave me a message and get acquainted.
