Looking for people to help me get back into D&D

So I had played D&D with a couple friends back in high school and I loved playing. Never was able to get full grasp of the game or get much exposure but I’ve been in love ever since I’ve rolled a D20. I’m looking for new and old players to help me get back into the game. I’d love to find people to run campaigns with.

I have a few options available. :)

We have a currently running 5E Saltmarsh game running (using parts of the "Ghosts of Saltmarsh" storyline, but it's more of a sandbox game); it meets Thursdays around 6:30 EST 'til around 10-11 PM. (Somtimes we end early, rarely do we run later.)  This group uses Roll20 and Skype.  (The core group has been together for some time, but this iteration is very new and thankfully pretty laid-back.) :) 

We also have a different group that has been together for a LONG time (20+ years); we just finished up a hybrid Sci-Fi/Fantasy game, and are planning to shortly move on to a more "Deadly Jungle/Shipwreck" style campaign. (Starting level TBD, but likely between 1-3.)   We're trying to decide on a night that works best for everyone.  (This group will use Discord and Roll20.)

In both cases the groups are typically in the 45-55 YO Range, though we do have players as young as 23 playing, too.  Most players are pretty experienced, but we have a few new to 5E, so experience is not a barrier to entry.  LGBTQ+ issues are a non-issue;  most players of both group are married with kids, but we have some LGBTQ+ players too (myself included.)
