Looking for two or three players (35ish +) for an in-progress high fantasy story focused homebrew game. I am a fairly new DM who can tell an immersive story, encourages lots of RP between characters, and creative problem solving. But there will also be combat, have no fear, well actually, I intend to instill a certain amount of fear. 😉 No graphic gore or torture.
Our members are players who are experienced to very experienced. The game is currently at level 3.
Participants are in GMT & EST.
Game time: Every Tuesday GMT 6 pm / EST 1 pm
Looking for reliable players only. Some experience preferred.

The pass through the ravine is increasingly steep and difficult to navigate. In places, the cliff ledge you are traversing becomes so narrow that you have to shift your body sideways to continue. As you progress further into the heart of the chasm you descend into shadow. The relentless heat of the desert sun can no longer reach you here. The air is much cooler and a slight trickle of water weeps from the porous sandstone rocks along the shelf. Moss growing between crevices on the path makes the footing slippery and dangerous. Each step forward becomes more precarious than the last. Looking down over the precipice you can see the jagged spear-like formations of the rocks below. Falling from this height would surely mean your end.
Finally reaching the bottom, the canyon opens wide before you. At the far end, looming and silent, stands the face of an ancient sandstone temple hewn into the base of the mountain. Imposing, majestic, and inhospitable, it towers over you by several hundred feet. A set of worn steps cascades downward between four colossal columns that guard a massive iron door. Each column is adorned with an immense sculpted stone snake. Their bodies coiled and spiraling to the ground, heads resting at the base, mouths open, fangs exposed. Their empty eyes leer in your direction.
I was interested then saw that with time zone difference wouldn't work out for me.
I've been looking for an immersive roleplay experience since my Runequest group stopped. The time zone difference works wonders for me.

Availability: Not sure. I work most evenings (food delivery stuff), so I know that will make it harder. I'll try to work it in because I really wanna do this. I'm available during the day, so a EU time might work better for me.
Preferred role: Player. archer focused ranger
Game style: RP mostly. I've spent a little time developing the backstory to my character (from before). She actually made it to lvl 2, but I'm not opposed to figuring out how to be bumped, can work with the backstory maybe.

ANYway, my dad technically made my bow; that's why it looks like a bedpost. Kinda. It's f*cking awesome. You DON'T wanna be on the other side of it. The only thing I have of my mother's is an emerald brooch. It's nothing special, I don't guess, but I'll never part with it. Age? 40. Don't know how old I'll get if I don't die by other means, being half-elf like I am. Hell, I'll probably never find out."

Hi. I'm interested in the group you are offering and would like to hear more. I am a brand new player, though have a theoretical knowledge of how the game works based on YouTube streaming shows etc. I have a desire to learn and need to take a first step somewhere. I'm in the UK so your GMT time is fine for me, however I'm slightly under your age line at almost 34. I am happy to discus character needs in terms of what would fit in to your ongoing campaign. Last game I played with twenty somethings I was branded a sexist IRL when in character I referred to a female druid shape changer who's favorite animal form was a house cat as Kitty when her character refused to give a name.
