Game: D&D 5e Group type: Online Experience: Any Location/Timezone: CST Schedule: Every other Saturday, starting at 6pm CST Roles sought: One player Game style: We try to keep a good balance between combat and roleplay, and try to keep things easy-going and fun.
Hey everyone! As the title suggests, I'm running a Dungeon of the Mad Mage campaign, and we recently had a player drop out, so I'm looking for a replacement. Specifically, it was the group's main healer who left, so I'm looking for a character who has some sort of healing, be it a cleric, paladin, celestial warlock, etc. DotMM relies a lot of secrets and surprises, so I prefer someone who has not played the campaign before. It is mildly edited to fit a homebrew world, but I'm pretty flexible on races, backgrounds, etc. We rolled for stats (quite generously, I might add) and are at level 5, so I'll work with you to make sure to get a character that is about equivalent to the rest of the party. Current group includes an aasimar sorcerer, warforged monk, and halfling rogue. The next game is scheduled for this coming Saturday, although I don't expect anyone to be ready on that short of notice. Anyway, if anyone is interested, shoot me a message with a character idea, and I'd love to talk with you a bit and see if you'd be a good fit for the group!
Would ylou be interested in someone who is returning to the game after not playing 30years and really having just 3.5e experience? No experience with 5e?
I thought I would ask first before committing to making a character
I'm open to anyone with any level of experience! No rush to make a concrete character just yet, though. You're welcome to just send me a basic outline for an idea. I like to chat with prospective group members and get a sense of how well they'd work with the rest of the players before I decide who is best to join.
I have only played a few one shots and have little roleplay experience but would like to give a try playing as a cleric. In the past i only played dragonborn barbarians.
So I have been playing with DNDBeyond character generator I have made a few characters that might work though I understand you may need to make changes.
One was a hill dwarf cleric...so to have some martial ability to go along with healing. Not quite what I would call a warpriest but lcearly moving in that direction. The second was a water genasi (absolutely no idea what the race is all about other than what dndbeyond said) druid. Sent to find out more about this very strange overly bright, disturbingly dry, where everyone eats dried out and or hot food "world". Looking for new healing techniques, plants to use for healing/healing magic and or find someone to learn such things from as a tutor
