I've been playing d&d for almost 7-8 years now, and I've always enjoyed the storytelling aspects and roleplaying benefit on top of the dungeon delving and fighting. I've been a DM for forever, and I've been wanting to join a game where I can flourish as a player for just as long.
My character is a Blood Hunter named Beast. I have a long, in-depth, and complicated backstory for him, but here are the important bullet points for if he'd be right for your game
Former slave (born into it)
Natural-Born Werewolf
Winged Tiefling
After escaping slavery, was taken in by a kind Carnival that taught him to read, write, and speak.
Single-handedly orchestrated the carnival's biggest scam (involving his lycan form)
After the slavers attacked the carnival, they were repelled, but he left to keep his new family safe
Met with a small group of adventurers, all having similar secrets to his, and together they traveled. The others were all of an evil bent of some kind by the end of their adventures.
In a tomb, they discovered a large tome with the secrets of Blood Magic.
Beast took the tome when they were planning on selling it, and fled from them.
Beast is now being hunted by his former slavers and his former adventuring party.
