I'm putting a game together, with the intention of making it into a podcast. While it's not likely we're going to become rich and famous from it that's the dream so why not try. More realistically I'm hoping that doing it as a podcast will at least provide extra motivation to maintain commitment to having a solid game (this includes myself with prep and writing).
Tentative play time is noon US Eastern on Fridays for sessions of 3-4 hours. Requirements are a good quality mic, Discord, and Roll20 account. New players welcome as long as they've at least taken the time to just read the basic rules so they have an idea what I'm talking about if I'm teaching them. I currently have two interested players and am looking for ideally two or maybe three more. Setting is skypunk homebrew with airships, floating islands and skyriders on giant birds on top of all the more traditional fantasy elements of Dungeons and Dragons (using 5e, mostly RAW with a few rules tweaked/added for the setting). I'm aiming for a fairly balanced mix of roleplay based situations and "traditional" combat and exploration while trying to build and maintain a sense of fun and adventure. I have a Discord server for the game set up with more info there. Fair warning there might be a few kinks to work out early on as it's been quite a while since I've DMed but I'm really looking forward to trying getting this game off the ground. PM me if interested for more info.
