I recently finished a DND campaign and I've been wondering about finding a new one. There's one thing I've been interested in and I thought it couldn't hurt to ask if anyone was running something like this.
Dungeons and Dragons has often been associated with medieval fantasy, and therefore often adopts a very medieval aesthetic. While there is nothing wrong with this on its own, I have been playing in a lot of games based on this style and I've been thinking it would be nice to have some variety. I know this is fantasy and not history, but I think it would be interesting to have a game that draws on a different era. I'd be open to a game that does something other than a medieval setting.
I was thinking a game with a Greco-Roman or Georgian-inspired aesthetic would be interesting. I already have some characters that would fit those. But I'd be open to different ideas if you wanted to try something else. Like drawing on the stone age, Ancient Egypt, the Renaissance, the Victorian era, even a modern setting. Or if you're feeling really ambitious I'd be open to DND... IN SPAAAAAACE! I'm just looking for a change, so I'm interested in hearing what you have to offer.
