Synopsis: Northwest Faerûn, 1496 DR. It's been a tumultuous 7 years on the continent. The village of Parnast, now free after hundreds of years of Zhentarim and Cult of the Dragon rule, is joining the Lords Alliance. The mineral riches of the Gray Vale are once again on the minds of the nobles and merchants of the West. There is talk of rebuilding abandoned Llorkh and Orlbar, of taming the wilderness between Loudwater and the great desert of Anauroch. The call goes out across the Sword Coast: workers are needed for the new mines, to clear the brush and wilderness away, to construct the roads that have long since fallen into disrepair. Valuable relocation packages are offered to commoner families to get them into the Gray Vale; merchants and mining companies are moving in by the dozen, attracted by the promise of a new and bright future on land you can truly call your own. But the Vale is rife with monsters, and convoys are ripe targets for bandits, barbarians & the Bedine. This is wild country A force of strange, elven exiles is moving in. And something is making the Vale's creatures lose their memory. Wherever the frontier of humanity goes, adventure will surely follow...
Hi, It will not let me answer your DM, so I shall put the info in here:
I can do that! I was thinking I could take 1 of 2 paths for a Druid:
If your druid ALREADY is focused on healing? I'd take the Wild Sorcerer subclass, 1 level.
If they're NOT healing focused, I would take the Death Cleric subclass, 1 level.
And here are 2 ideas for backups
The Playful Bard
Name: Tsunoi Chitako Age: 23 Race: Tiefling Subclass: College of Spirits Simplified Backstory: Tsunoihas always been mysterious. No one has quite been able to figure her out, besides the fact she is good with music. Sometimes soothing, sometimes scary, she can do it all. Tsunoi has a voice in her head, and has for a while. It's her guiding voice, and it gives her her power. Calling it Yuki, she has gifted Tsunoi a few things, like the way to guide people, but also to tap into the people beyond, that are able to give her assistance with various topics. The one thing she has to do? Carry the skull of Yuki's former body. That way, they can still work together.
The Misjudged Monk
Name: Braxton Age: 20 Race: Half-Orc Subclass: Way of the Astral Self Simplified Backstory: Braxton was always outcast. Living with an Orc clan, the one issue was that his parents were an Orc and a Human...which was forbidden. His mother, the human, was cast out and banned from ever returning. His father was imprisoned, so Braxton was alone and adopted. But on his 15th birthday, he was trained in the Monk traditions and fighting style. He was pushed with the hardest trials, but he still passed. However, people didn't think it was legitimate. So, he was cast out to find his own way. Not banned, like his mother though. And his task? Find something worthwhile and bring it. Maybe then, he will be re-accepted.
They are just a few ideas! Please, let me know if you have a preference for any of them. My discord is ReV#1286 if you'd like to talk.
