STILL LEARNING

I am a returning player looking to actually play and have fun! I'm getting the idea that the majority of groups are paid and i am as broke as it gets after buying my 1st home. I just want something to help pass the time. I would LOVE to play some 2nd edition or even 1st edition if any one is brave enough lol but am good with 5E s well. I have a player created and ready to go but I also am an adult with a job and a family as well so please keep that in mind
